Fretless Friday 13- Original Tune (???)

Happy Fretless Friday! Is this an original tune, or am I a song thief with a bad memory? My guess is a little of both. Pardon my extra sloppy playing today- my brain is a bit fried at the moment. I thought doing a nice restful crochet project would be a good break from my shed renovation, but I am now engaged in the fight of my life with another crochet sweater. But we will not fret about that now, for it is Friday! Hope yall have a great day, and let me know what I should call this song!

Whether you live on a farm or in a suburb, in southern California or in southern Appalachia, country is an attitude and a state of mind. Anyone who plays banjo, crochets, and hangs out with the chickens is in a country state of mind in my opinion!

What is it about this young lady that just mesmerizes us.. She is a very different kind of angelic soul. Pure talent .. When she plays I can tell her mind goes somewhere else.. a place where few can go much less bring back to us.. So very sweet and when she looks at the camera she is looking right at me and you.. Do you feel it?

This is not my favorite music, which is worlds away. But I like and enjoy this music. Banjo music, played in the back yard, with chickens scratching is OUR music. Country, Jazz, Bluegrass, Blues, Ragtime, Stride- it’s music with openness, movement, longing, a lot of it contains the rhythm of steel wheels on steel rails. It makes me content.
