Yes, it’s meant to sound like "So What," but it’s not the Miles Davis recording. The piano is right, and the repeated four-note figure is very close, but the figure doesn’t repeat like that in the original, and the last note isn’t held as long. The background music is kind of Kind of Blue, probably meant to signify a hip, cool with-it fellow. I’ve been listening to Kind of Blue since it came out (I was a toddler with a dad who loved jazz), so I really hope I’m right. : )

My guess is producers would have loved to use actual music from Kind Of Blue, but couldn't get permission or didn't want to shell out the bread to, and so changed it just enough so they could get the vibe without infringing on a copyright. Just guessin.....

@@CheapestGamer I know. That happened to me but first a brief history: I had one that was 14 and I should have taken him to be euthanized sooner than I did, I loved him so. He was my first dog as an adult and my #1 buddy. So I was prepared for it. But, his little buddy Princess was happy and springy and in one day developed shutdown of her kidneys. It was thought to be congenital but she was 13. Two days later she had to be put down. Quick like what happened with you? The vet told me sometimes they can have low kidney function and be ok until it hits a critical point. I got another one at the SPCA that was elderly when adopted and it was her time after just 4 years. Went to the rescue org. to get another dog the very next day but was crying and the employees huddled because they worried it was too soon for me. Luckily they were OK with my apparent emotional state, and that year old little Cici lived a long life and happy life. After that I was devastated (again-but this was the 2nd worse I'd felt) I just had to wait a while, and waited about 7 months to start looking for a new one. It took a several months so it was a year between my last lovely, and I adopted two 4 year olds that grew up together! They're both 13 now. They make my life worth living. Each one is special. Best of luck to you.

@@georgetteconstant9050 Thank you. They definitely bring a lot of sunshine into our lives even on the cloudiest of days. It took me way longer than my family to be ready the last time. We looked at a few, including a little old guy that had multiple issues but was still happy just to get out of the cage and be seen. Third time was the charm. Soon as we saw him we were both like "that's our dog".

In any case, my doc. shared with me about her recently death of her doggie, and to my mind, it is the same as losing a person. Everyone takes the time they need, and when they are ready and circumstances happen (sometimes like a miracle) it is-well-magical. Every so often my husband will send a photo out of the blue to me, and today he sent one of Cici from years ago. She had the handle of a paper bag stuck around her neck and a mangled box of Milk bones on the floor. We were laughing, then snapped a pic.

I searched for this commercial to see it more frequently!! Love this! The dog is always right!

Hilarious! If you don't respect the things I love, you gotta go. I feed my 3 Chihuahua mixes Fresh Pet food. They love it! I've tried at least 3 subscription food plans, but Fresh Pet has been a winner.

Let me tell you something I'm a pet lover myself. But when somebody says something like pets are more loyal than humans let me tell you about my dad my Dad love my mama until the day he died he was beyond loyal to my mama even friends and family have said that. Even my mama would have told anybody that. There's nothing wrong with having a pet because I have had plenty I love them and they love me. But to me nothing beats human companionship from a good person and believe it or not they're still good people out there.

I made dinner for my one time college boyfriend, who knew!!! that l had a golden retriever. He went on and on about dog hair on his jeans (Max isn't allowed on the furniture) and boyfriend DID to on about the Fresh Pet in my fridge! So, laughed til l cried when l saw this ad. Max stays. EX boyfriend can go home, and alphabetize his sock drawer!!! 😅❤️🐶🌹

Thank you for making this commercial. 95 percent of television advertisements portray patriarchal/male figures as inept, incapable, insensitive, insecure and useless dolts. The women and children in these ads are always smarter and belittle the men without hesitation and with no consequence. Finally an ad that shows the woman being the "bad guy."

Perfect commercial! I've always heard about people who give up their pet because their new boyfriend/girlfriend/spouse etc. doesn't care for it. That is a huge red flag. Run don't walk from that relationship.

Honestly, this is one of the few commercials that’s on the air right now that I genuinely like cause it’s true about any pet owner. You might be there for a date, but you will not judge how I care for my dog.
