If you want to make excellent quality home brew but dont have the time for all grain brewing this kit is the way to go. These fresh wort kits are the best value kits of their type and produce great aromatic results with fantastic malt flavour.
No malt extact or cheap dextrose or cane sugar has been added here. This is a all grain product which has never been through the damaging evaporative process.

    Yes it's a shame Fresh Worth cannot be sold in America. I believe you guys have food safety standards that prevent food products like this being sold unless the PH is below 4 or 5 or something. It's a real shame as I think they are a great product.

    @kegland what water do you recommend using? Distilled water or spring water?

    Distilled, spring, RO are all fine. Even tap water if the wquality is good enough

    @kegland How did you remove the cap so easily at 10:05? Love the All Rounder but always have a little trouble with this.

    I did not spill any beer on the ring. If you spill beer or wort onto the lid ring it will dry up and beer dries up almost as hard as super glue. If you are careful enough to not spill onto the ring in the first place you will probably find the ring much easier to undo. I try to keep a rag nearby so i instantly can wipe up mess as it happens and that helps a lot.

    @@frankbob56 I just undo the ring by hand and then to lift up the lid the o-ring is quite tight so I use a screw driver or the 7 in 1 too to lever open the lid.     Just wondering why are you using co2 from a co2 cylinder to transfer the beer into the keg? It's a waste of co2 from your bottle, When I ferment in the allrounder I attach a hose from the blowtie valve into an empty keg and it is then flushed with co2, when the bear is finished I place the fermzilla allrounder on a table, and the keg on the floor, I then attach a beer line from the beer outlet from the all rounder to the beer post on the keg and a line from the co2 outlet from the fermzilla to the keg, this usually takes 30 minutes and the co2 from the empty keg goes back into the fermzilla, I also flush both lines with co2 before hand, I finish up with a closed transfer.

    I always push the sterliser out of my kegs using fermentor CO2 but use the CO2 bottle to transfer from the fermentor to the keg. So your method is just natural syphon? Beer flows down, CO2 flows up? How does your method go when there's 23L in the fermentor but only 19L keg?

    @@fifis101 ​ Yes this is a really good way to do it. As long as your fementation is not too active that krausen blows into the keg this is a really good use of CO2.

    Yes that is a fair point. We should probably 500ml bladder for yeast starters. That would probably be a good idea. This kit might be a bit too big.

    Hi Ryan, You will need to wash it out thoroughly enough and drop it into the soft plastics recycling bins at your local supermarket/or recycling centre.

    Unfortunately never. America has tight regulators with respect to selling products that are PH5 or above. We have tried to get More Beer to make this product locally but unfortunately it just doesnt meet the food safety requirements. It seems a bit silly as we have the product independently tested and we are sure it's 100% safe but the regulations in USA are just a bit too tight.

    @@KegLand well that is unfortunate. I dislike the flavor of extract and am still daunted to try all grain. I love your products and videos though. I am about to convert my kegerator to duotight fittings and Nukatap faucets. Keep innovating. Cheers

    @@HomeBrewNetwork definitely don't see how purging would cause an issue many people do it when dry hopping . May be over the top or not needed.

    @@FLOYDMSMC not needed, its best in my opinion in small vessels like this to dry hop just before ferment is finished, there's positive CO2 pressure coming out, and usually the wort is protected by thin residual krausen. Just adding the hops and closing her up, the Co2 still being produced and the nucleation from hops creates more and it'll very quickly push out any O2 that may of entered and is probably still sitting very close to the top, for the most part.. When you purge most the time the krausen is pushed away and the bare wort is exposed at the same time you're really mixing that O2 in. I've just had much better results and less damage from keeping it really simple. Cheers!

    @@HomeBrewNetwork I have been adding hops at the end of fermentation but before crash chill and seem to get good results. When doing the NEIPA using Verdant I generally do 18C ferment then gradually rise up to 24C then dropping the fermenter down to 14C for 2 days and during this 2 days I add hops. I seem to still have very small amont of yeast activity here but not so much that I get hop creep and at 14C I still get some biotransformation. I have found this a really good way to get good result from my dry hops. I know a lot of other people add hops at high Krausen so oxygen is less of an issue but then the only issues I have found the hops are in the fermenter too long and I tend to get some grassy flavours. I should say we are about to release another dry hop device that will enable you to dry hop more easily and purge oxygen out of the hops before they go into the fermenter.

    ​@@KegLand Thats the joy of home brewing we all do things differently! I haven't had any success, or any benefit from the newer methods, like the 14c lower dry hops, with that I had less aromas. I know some there shake the fermenter which might be ok for hazies, but you'll usually destroy the floccing properties of the yeast, I mean if its flocced already, and you break those groups of yeast up, and a lot of them can't floc again because there little flocculins mannose etc are full and they dont stick back together, like fluff filled velcro. Sorry I just finished an absolutely intense Science in brewing course and I'm nerded out!! The way I see it, if you try something that takes more time and more energy but you're not actually getting any benefit out of it, then its a waste of energy and time. Of course the other way matters too, if you do get a better result then its probably worth it. None the cool dry hopping methods have given me any benefit, and I'm not worried about hop creep because one, I haven't had the issue and two, I don't bottle or can. I keg and the kegs kept cold. Maybe a part of it is that all my training has been for commercial breweries, though that includes craft breweries of course, and there's not many that muck around with temp changes and the kind of crazy things some home brewers do, they seem to want to complicate everything these days... Just get the hops in, avoid oxygen and you're all good! hahaha The combination of dry hopping just before ferment is finished, enclosed transfer and a touch of SMB, or the oxygen scavenging chemical of your liking and my beers have been fresh for months and months, just awesome. It's actually been a very common question asked in all the online forums during lockdown, for example, Fixation and Bridge Road were the last couple and I'm yet to get one of the breweries say they dry hop cool, they mostly say they didn't get the results they wanted and went back to the normal. Of course, I try everything, but it's got benefit something if it adds extra work and time. It would be boring if we all just agreed on everything hahaha Keep up the great work and innovation Kegland! Actually some one tagged you guys in my live stream on Monday they said something about a steam condenser thing for the boil kettle? They wanted me to test one for them, I haven't seen them yet though. Cheers!
