@@djvsmoothjasonv4555 Ofc you can pay for a screen replacement, but if you were to replace the glass yourself, you would save money, recycle the LCD and practice/learn new skills Wanting to fix stuff yourself doesn't make you a tight ass lol

NO 1 TAKE YOUR PHONE TO LET A PRO DO IT. these things are NOT DIY. NO.2 a hair dryer will do just nicely, my heat gun is not as exact but the idea is, apply head. You can get a gel thing for your shoulder or back, that you microwave for heat, and apply it let it sit, same thing.

This guy needs a raise. Way too much time fixing these iPhones.
Yup. Just plugged it into the laptop and now it's charging. Thanks for the tip.
Great instructions m8, no experience at all and just totally replaced the guts of an S4 with your help! One small note, tell people to watch out when they are putting the thin blue cable back, the 3G one I think. It is awfully close to the screw holes an I ended up screwing thru it...so beware! Thanks again pal!!!
If I start practicing now, in about 10 years I am able to repair my iphone 7 screen with additional equipment cost of only 20.000 usd :) Thank you very much.
Holy WOW! Just saved my screens life! Thank you sooo much!
REWA its like watching a action movie. Seriously all the technics and know-how you guys have is stunning. The best part was when you replaced the backlight of the screen. I was like WHAT ARE YOU DOING!!? STOP!! hahahahahaha i thought you were breaking the LCD, after all the hard work. Is it even necessary to replace the backlight? I mean its a potentially dangerous step that could (should ^^ ) be spared.
@rewatechnology2008

Thanks for your comment. It is not necessary to replace the backlight, we just want to demonstrate the whole process.
I like the videos because its very educational. Not everything has to be money. But will quality and good hard work, it makes a difference.

The people that does it for 100 bucks don't fix it though, they just buy a lcd+digitizer+frame assembly and swap it out in 10 minutes.

Gusto what is the band for ? I don't know and I'm asking plz don't roast me
@richardvaughan25

Static bands are for discharging static electricity that your body might have accumulated due to friction. These static charges can be accidentally discharged onto the fragile components in PCB and small electrical parts on cellphone internals, rendering unusable. In order to work, they need to be connected to ground so that the charges flow to the ground and you become electrically discharged.

Dropped my phone yesterday. And it now had a crack running in the glass from the top right of the phone to the bottom left. Everything still seems to be working. So I'm in doubt if I should replace the front of my phone. Even though in the video it doesn't seem too hard, I wonder if someone like me who isn't that technical and a bit clumsy when it comes to finer movements, will get it done without causing even more damages. But I wanted to let you know my favorite ice cream is taste is lemon.
perfect job !

Is the MAG lamination better than other brands? Is 4 in 1 better than getting vacuum pump and air compressor separate? Just incase if one unit fails say the pump, you can replace just that component instead of the whole 4-1 machine?
kepp up the good work
thanks for helping me to get rid of annoying notification.
i love it when you get the demo done buy some one who has no idea what there doing , and is wearing an esd strap that isnt earthed !
@DrTTolentino
4 жыл бұрын
it's true that his esd wrist strap isn't plugged in (earthed)... and I have to be honest and say I wouldn't even have noticed that had you not pointed it out... BUT - You have to give the guy some credit. He DOES know what he's doing. Aside from the ESD strap, he did the repair, he was well organized, he used the right tools, and he demonstrated it quite well... Perhaps, he just didn't wear the strap to make the video easier to record.

Good Morning. I see a common error in many technicians, which is to connect the screen with the battery connected, that usually burns the screens. It is advisable to disconnect the battery and then connect the screen. The iphone have boosters that make the screens functions with approximately 24VDC. It is just an advice!
