Her shades are REALLY great. It's really hard for some reason to find a neutral shade that isn't somehow orange. I also wear no.11 and it's perfect for my neutral, light olive skin. It's like your skin but better

She looks so beautiful. The black hair, the big dark eyes, the grey shirt, the lip colour, the eyeshadow… alltogher look perfect. What a gorgeous combination.

Do you also feel makeup tutorials on 小红书 and 抖音 are absolutely the opposite of this? - (I wish KZread was allowed in China and not forbidden so more beauty influence can come through. I am lucky to be able to use a VPN here in Beijing) Because it feels like more make up and less of your real face - the better -….or am I just being influenced by the main “over the top” beauty videos with milions of views on chinese social media? What do you think? ❤

@@muchashaka3147 I definitely noticed chinese beauty trend moving more towards fuller coverage and matte finish. I find that interesting too, the rest of world focused more on glowy complexion during and after the pandemic, but china went the opposite way. Cream skin used to be what all the hype is about in China, but now matte and full coverage is seen as the most elegant? Expensive? What I'm trying to say is 高级感. I have a theory that it is partly because of the kpop ban in China, the Korean dewy and glass skin faded out of the Chinese market, and we kind of developed our own beauty standards now.

With or without makeup, her face is absolute perfection 🌹

You can also use the techniques in this tutorial but switch out the mint shade for Lilac, Lavender, Peach or any other Spring shade that you like xxx

She’s beautiful and the mint looks fantastic on her. I picked up the ABH Cosmic pallet last month because I found myself drawn to a mint green shade in it. It’s not something I’d normally wear. I’m almost 49 and while I do not care for a lot of the old makeup rules for mature ladies I personally love more minimal and neutral looks 80% of the time. I’m a 911 dispatcher. I work 12 hour swing shifts and I like my easy daily makeup that wears and fades well topped with a colorful lip balm that I can reapply without thinking. I’m excited about Lisa’s latest launch because of this. I still couldn’t stop thinking about the mint green shade, I love it because it’s duo chrome so it’s not just mint, it’s more sheer and it has some sparkle. It’s pretty easy to pull off.

This shade of mint is so stunning, especially on Song's complexion. Very late-60s glam.

I love how the blush and lipstick pop with the mint green. Absolutely beautiful.

That mint exudes a sense of freshness. Wouldn’t have ever thought it’s possible to wear that colour without looking like it’s from a long ago era. Song is adorable and I can see how much she enjoyed getting her makeup done by you 😊.

Mint is definitely one of my favorites I have discovered a few months ago. I tend to buy a lot of indie (independently owned) eyeshadow palettes/singles. The cool mints, especially muted cool mints (which is hard to find but I managed), are a dream! I started doing this last fall, pairing it with a neutral khaki green (or olive green but prior was more flattering on my complexion), it’s stunning when done right.
