Chef John I have been following you since 2008. I was single back then, my waist was narrow and my mind was broad. I have tried dozens of your recipes and you have really helped me up my cooking game. Even to date every time there is a notification, I drop everything to watch your video. Gone are the days when I could eat like a pig and not gain a pound. Some of it I am blaming on you :) EDIT:In 2010 I married a girl who was rather quite impressed by my cooking skills. Chef John had a lot to do with that. She has bore me 2 wonderful daughters. Waist may not be narrow anymore. The back and neck may not be hairless anymore. But life is quite wonderful.

I just came home from the Farmer's wife fruit and veggie stand. I bought one gorgeous Peach that cost $1.50. I checked my phone and there you were making Peach fritters, 😲 OMG !! You are using only one peach, YAY So, what's for lunch today? That's right... HAPPY ME 🥰
I worked at a bakery as the Fritter King. I made fritters out of everything I could find. I used natural juice over any liquids, but I did use a couple tablespoons of buttermilk.

Why
I just so happened to have literally every ingredient for this. I immediately got up and made these, and holy hell this was beyond amazing! Legitimately one of the best deserts I’ve ever had. The bourbon syrup is going to be going on so many things from now on as well!
You are (after all) the Tex Ritter Of your Bourbon Peach Fritter!
I honestly don't think I've ever had a peach fritter. Apple fritters and i think even pineapple but now i desperately want to make this. Looks wonderful 😋
This recipe is just peachy! 🍑
I'm buying peaches when I go shopping this weekend. As always thank you Chef John.
I always make your apple fritters during the fall and they're amazing. I can't wait to make these - probably tonight!

what type of apples do you use?
I made these tonight along with the bourbon glaze and my family raved about how good they were! I had 7 small, fresh peaches left over from a recent trip to the farmers’ market so I doubled the recipe and it worked out great. Thank you, Chef John!
I made this tonight, thank you so much; it was delicious!
The only way I could see this looking better is to serve with homemade peach ice cream! 😋 As much as I love apple fritters, I think I'm going to love these too! 😘 Thanks for sharing another great recipe!🤩
You have provided me with the answer to one of my life's yearning, a better peach fritter. Gracias
I'll be trying this ASAP. Thanks.
Just wanna say thanks for all these great recipes. You've never led me astray and you're a staple in our house
That looks like a prize-winning recipe!
I just made these. My God. They are amazing. Absolutely eat these with the syrup and ice-cream
Thank you! I made these tonight - delicious! Lots of compliments 😊
this is wonderful, I cannot wait to try this! Thanks Chef!
I made these this morning, and they’re absolutely fantastic, especially considering how easy they were. Thanks!
Such a delight, and the fritters look good too.
Those look absolutely delicious. 😍
Dear chef John, As always, your the best~!
Perfect time for this video!!!!! I have a bumper crop of peaches coming off my tree this year- thank you!
Looks fantastic!! Great idea! Must try this peach season. Thank you, as always, Chef John.
Our peaches are so good here in Georgia that I can just take my fingers and pill the skin off and the juice is unbelievable. Yumbo!!! Making these tonight!

Georgia peaches are legendary, but we do have a certain area in Colorado known for amazing peaches. Not trying to take your title, you grow FAR more than we do; but the area around the small western-slope town of Palisade, CO has the soil and climate to grow excellent peaches, which we are known for. Our real claims to fame are the Cantaloupe melons grown near the town of Rocky Ford, on the high plains east of Pueblo; and the Pueblo green chili pepper, which is the feisty brother to the New Mexico Hatch chili pepper.

@@kennethcook9406 - I believe it. Actually, the pockets in Georgia that have good peaches are hard to come by these days. They don't grow as much as they used to. I've had some great peaches from different states. Can't wait to head out to that Palisade area in Colorado and try yours. When's the best time for those peaches? And the best time for the canteloupe and green chilis? Those sound great too!

@@knowledgetracker Summer for everything. June through September. Although chili peppers can be grown indoors year-round. Also, you can get a Rocky Ford Cantaloupe at almost any Kroeger-affiliated store in the state (King Soopers, City Market)

@@knowledgetracker The eastern half of our state is considered as "high desert" so the area around Rocky Ford forces the cantaloupes to concentrate their sugar in the melons; while Palisade is in a strange intra-mountain area that creates a good climate for a lot of different fruit, including peaches, cherries, and wine grapes. In fact, if you can name a berry, we can probably grow it (or something like it) somewhere in Colorado. For example: the big juicy strawberries that are sold everywhere in every store, are total garbage when compared to the tiny wild mountain strawberries from an appropriate environment.
Happened to be gifted a box of peaches shortly after watching your video! We quickly got to frying; thank you for the recipe!

There's a place near me that makes really great fritters, these are on par with those and maybe even better. This one will go in the recipe box. Thanks Chef John!
Pureed banana/overripe plantain + nutmeg, cinnamon, tiny bit of salt + flour and baking powder. Banana fritter Cameroon version.

Those Peach Fritters look absolutely delicious ❤
Dude! As per usual, you're recipe is spot-on and yummy! I doubled this batch and was a little nervous that it was too dry. You're a wonderful host because you said it would look dry, so I kept the faith. The batter came together just like you said it would. These were really, really good! The Burbon syrup is a really nice touch too! Thanks! You are, you have been, and continue to be our family's favorite recipe author!

These peach fritters sound so awesome, and it’s peak peach season now! I think I like your bourbon simple syrup, but for simplicity (that means cutting corners) I think I’ll try it with maple syrup or hot honey simple syrup (just dilute the hot honey with a little water just to make it thinner.) Honey on vanilla ice cream is awesome, but I’ve never tried the hot kind. Thanks again Chef John! This is a good one.
OH MY! My mouth is watering!
Chef John, I made these tonight. So easy and delicious. Big hit with my wife.

Yeah, but the peaches have that unique thicker syrup they exude when you add sugar, and you need that to make this work, just like some fruits have pectin, some don’t.
