Leader : 80lb Tsunami Florocarbon
Hook: 7/0 Circle Hook
Yellow Eye Snapper are a fish you can almost always count on catching once you figure out how to do it. We were fishing in about 700 feet of water using an assortment of squid and small snapper chunks. We were using the electric reels because we were fishing such deep water. It's not the sportiest way to fish but it still is a lot of fun and productive way to catch some fish.

Looked good👍. I wonder if I land on an island when I am in the 10,000 islands if the fish is considered "landed" so I can fillet and eat. It would be nice to do this when I am on an all day trip.

Fresh squeezed lime/lemon juice is best, in Texas it is illegal to filet fish on the boat, must be done when returned to dock or home. Also known as "fish's final destination" as per Texas fish rules and regulations. Nice video
