Very cool video, I really like the way you edit your videos, just wanted to say that you don't have to delete your eyes if you use them in a normal layer, much people are saying "but people without the resource pack will see you eyeless", that will only happen if you delete the normal eyes (wich isn't Necessary) so please, if anyone reads this don't delete them, just add the animated eye texture and It will look fine xd

I was under the impression that because of my double layer eyes, my eyebrows and pupils specifically would double since they’re normally on the second layer. I remember having recorded a clip talking about not needing to delete your eyes if everything was on the first layer, but I might have accidentally deleted it…

The minecraft trailers have proven how facial expressions in minecraft are supposed to be done, and this video isn't it. Stop assuming your answer is the only right one.

I personally think blinking is too weird for vanilla minecraft. You could say something about it being in the trailers, but the trailers have always been very different from the game.

ok, having watched you blink for so long (IN MINECRAFT), it's not as creepy as it seemed at first because it's "properly" animated, unlike vanilla bedrock, with several frames so your eyes only stay shut very briefly

I got this to work yesterday and screenshared it to my friend. He hated it XD Really great pack, I was tired of the mobs around me having fresh anims, but not having any myself.

Only if your eyes are partially on both layers like mine normally is. If your eyes are on the base layer only, you can leave them and it won’t cause problems with the pack. I removed mine just because of my pupils. Normal people do not have to delete their eyes. That was one thing I accidentally left out of the video

Just spent 2 hours on editing my skin because i dont know how to use photoshop just to make my character feel a bit more lively.. thats why i love minecraft!

Glad seeing java players finally has player animation resource pack after long time, because bedrock players already have it earlier, and it's Fanimation by Fiery abyss. But the java version has the own unique style while Bedrock version are inspired from MC Dungeon animation and Not enough animation mod.

Technically had it I believe with at least one other mod that lets you animate your skin as well as animations but this is better in a lot of ways

I think figura is also worth looking into for more advanced skin changes.

you should look up to the sun more often.

VERY IMPORTANT NOTE IWHEN YOU DOWNLOAD THE PACK: Modrinth automatically chooses what it thinks is the LATEST version of the pack, so you might be downloading the eyeless version without realising. (if u like ur eyes not moving, then whatever).

I never used Fresh Animations because it never fit with yourself, but now i will for sure!

It would be so much more work but it would be cool if an eye tracker could be hooked up and if you were looking at the right side of ur screen, your Minecraft character would look right, etc! But it still looks really cool as is!

We’re getting closer to matching Bedrock’s incredible versatility. I remember using resourcepacks (and nothing else) to add player animations and shaders :D

Actually I suggest you to keep the original eyes in a flat version on your skin. This will allow other player who don't have the mod and the pack installed to see your face. Don't worry tho, you wont see your static and animated eyes/eyebrowns in the same time. The pack has been well thought. Just be sure the static eyes correspond to the animated eyes you are using.

The problem was, the resource accounts for the base layer, not the hat layer. I did get a workaround though so I will have a face from now on!

@@layncemc It's true. You can't have animated eyes AND the parallax effect for those who don't have ETF and the pack installed. But since it only affects the peasants who don't know the existence of this wonderful pack it's not a problem.

I'd like to imagine there will be a face tracking system for this mod. Also tysm! I've been trying to do this for a long time cus i thought the villagers looked goofy

If then don’t overlap, I wonder if they’d be compatible! I’m not sure how much of the empty space is used for the ears, but theoretically they could both work if they weren’t overlapping one another!

the ears use the spot where 2px high and 3px wide eyes go, and if you add a snout then that's in the same place as the normal eyes. eyebrows are at least compatible from what i can tell, and i think Ears won't use those pixels unless you tell it to, so it might be compatible with certain settings!
