Followed all the steps, eyes are entirely glitched out now, and for other players there eyes are just black.

I've had minimal problems with 3D Skin Layers myself, so far anyway. It should be compatible, though I guess is different for everyone.

@@novalynxie502 perhaps its been patched then! I was hearing from a lot of people that that mod was the problem, but I have seen them working together, so maybe it’s fixed altogether now

To any fellow hermitcraft fans, bdubs apparently blinked in his recent episode, I think he might've used this mod. Also, loved the ending of you singing bad, gave me a good laugh

He used ETF on its own, which blinks in a different way! He doesn’t get eye movements though. I’d actually been using that for months before bdubs found it, and then now I’ve switched to this right when he started using it. I can’t wait to see if this ever gets 3x3 eye support. Scar’s reaction to his current blink was hilarious. This would be even better

One thing I found out is you can put more than just two eyes on a skin, it works surprisingly well! Albeit a bit strange with how in sync they are.

I wish this pack worked for my skin, Fresh Moves does support the 1 by 3 eye SHAPE. But those are only 2 pixels apart, while mine are 4 pixels apart. And it just looks cross-eyed when I move them to only be 2 pixels apart.

It's videos like these that make me mourn the updates of npc mods in earlier versions. I want to slap my characters into Minecraft so I feel less lonely playing. 😅

I cannot WAIT for this to be compatible with custom(izable) player model! Imagine how awesome it would look to have glowing eyes with a blinking animation! (This compatibility might be impossible to add though, given how CPM works😞)

This is really intriguing. I think I will start using it if it's magic pixels don't conflict with ears.

If the ears use empty space on the skin, then I think it will conflict unfortunately

Very cool! Hope to see more updates down the road. My eyes don't really work with it right now, basically Scar's eyes so 2x2 area but 1x1 pupil pixel in the corner which I spent an hour trying to get working but instead I just went crosseyed. And my eyes keep going above my hair which doesn't seem right.

I was really excited to try this for the skins I've made for some people, but unfortunately they feel too confident. They look around, sure, but lack the space to imagine the personalities of the people. Though it works really well for skins like yours, and even mine. Also the Just Expressions versions came out the day after I checked to see whether it was a thing yet. 😔

You should check out the realistic villagers texture pack on modrinth . It matches really well with the expressions and it has fresh animations support aswell

Can you theoretically create eyes in any position on the character model by editing the appropriate section of the texture or does this only work for the pre-defined templates? I have a skin with eyes on the side of the head rather than the front and I'm wondering if it's possible to still get blinking.

I don't really care about the eyes,more about the animations because i have fresh animations which without the eyes this pack fits well,and it even works with 3d skin layers without the eyes too.

Entity Texture Features (its the mod that add the texture part of Entity Mode Features) has a simpler blink animation for skins and it’s compatible with this mod as it uses different parts of the texture file So you will still blink when people don’t have this texture pack but do have ETF Hope this helps people

I don’t think this is true because the resource pack uses assets that ETF on its own does not have. You’d need both the mods and the resource pack

ETF has its own blink, going to the wiki or ingame settings should how it, it’s just simple frames but it does work quite nicely

@@konijnebeer I used it before I found this resource pack! But it's not the same blinking. ETF's adds whole frames to your skin that it switches between. Fresh Moves has some coding magic behind the scenes to make the animations work instead. So for ETF's animations yes, you can see them without a resource pack and just the mod, but for Fresh Moves, you will need it

Yes that is what I’m saying, I think you are mis reading my comment With compatible I mean both versions can be in the same skin file I never said you could have eye animations with just ETF I said “simple blinking” is posible with that mod :)

I've legit never been more excited about being able to blink in a video game (Bedrock blinking SUCKS, but this one looks cewl)

I have a particularly weird bug I encountered in a modpack recently... Apparently, there's a weird conflict/glitch when you have a spellbook from _Iron's Spells & Spellbooks_ in the "belt" slot from _Curios_ (but only if it's set to be visible) while _EMF_ and the resource pack are installed, which causes the inner and outer layers of your playermodel's skin to do horrible desynch-y things. I can't find the right words to describe the visual result, aside from "it basically partially turns you into a minor eldritch horror". Seriously, its a weird-ass glitch, but it fixes itself as long as you disable the visibility of the _IS&S_ when it's in the belt slot.

Please check out Figura! It's allot more technically complex, but allows for some INSANE customisability!

But what if i have a 3x3 eyes? Edit: i tried with my girlfriend skin (Eyelashes 2x2 eyes) but the eyes arent working :( 2nd edit: ok so the issue is, when downloading from curseforge, it downloads the latest one which is the "Eyeless fresh moves" instead of the "Expressive Fresh moves". You have to download it manually by checking the older versions. Hope it helps someone.
