For nail holes, you can use either RubberStop or Sapal 2 in 1, the only difference is that Sapal 2 in 1 is paintable while RubberStop is not. As for the wall craters, please send an actual photo of it through our official Facebook page facebook.com/BuildritePhils so that the product we can recommend is correct.

may interior wall po kami na matagal na naka skim coat hindi pa naliha at hindi na pinturahan yung half part yung other half dati ng may paint ano po magandang gawin para marepair yung buong wall kasi yung part na may dati ng paint eh may mga part na nagtutuklap na kasi dati wala pang waterproofing yung labas. Maliit lang kasi yung wall kaya gusto ko sana DIY na lang.. :)

Hi, thank you for your inquiry. Buildrite Tofil 801 application: Apply the mixture using a stainless-steel filling knife or trowel up to 3mm thick. Two separate coats must be applied for a successful resurfacing. (First layer as a primer to fill up all minor defects). Allow to set at least 30 minutes between coats. Pre-covering curing time at least 24 hours. Note: Drying and curing will be dependent on application thickness, substrate condition and atmospheric conditions.

Hi, thank you for your inquiry. Tofil 802 is an acrylic based skim coat that serves as skim coat and paint in one. However, it is not waterproof. Re-application depends on proper assessment and proper surface preparation is needed. Skimcoat over skimcoat can only be resurfaced using the same method of surface preparation, including light sanding and water spraying prior to application. Before applying another coat of skimcoat, you should take into account the current state of your skimcoat, including if it is chalky, has dust present, or has portions that are flaking

Nagkamali ang tao ko at ginamit ang interior type na skim coat. Pwede kaya patungan lang ng exterior type skim coat at di na alisin?

2q: 3 days pwede na e apply ang skim coat sa labas 7 days sa loob. Hindi po pwede yan dahil hindi pa totally cure yong seminto. Mag ka crack ng mag ka crack po yan. At hindi po totoong pag gusto mong magmadali gumamit ka ng skim coat. 1st. Option naming mga pintor ay lasonin ang seminto para lumitaw agaw ug mga crack tapos pinupunasan namin ng tubig gamit roller para maalis yong mga acid ng lason or neutralizer.tapos mamasilyahan yong mga crack ng concrete epoxy.tska mag skim coat. 2nd.pinapahiran muna namin ng flexibond ang buong seminto bago mag skim coat. Bakit?. Para pag nag crack yong seminto mapipigal ng flexibond. 3rd. Yong sinasabi niyo na proseso pero matatagal po kasi kada araw may panibago na namang crack. 2nd question :bakit nag pupulbos ang skim coat.? Dahil po yan sa liha nililiha po kasi ng pintor yan bago aplayan ng primer, yong ibang pintor para maging madali trabaho nila hindi na nila pinupunasan ang skim coat nirerekta na nilang aplayan ng primer kaya hindi solid ang kapit ng primer at natatanggal. Kaya sa mga nakabasa nito kung may pera kayo at bahay nyo ang pipinturan. I recommend ipa smooth finish nyo bahay nyo at solvent base na pintura gamitin nyo 10-20 years dpende sa pag prepara ng pintor bago kukupas pintura nyo . At kung commercial building naman papipinturahan nyo i recommend skim coat nalang tsaka water base paint para maka mura kayo.yong lang po salamat.

Hi, thank you for sharing your opinion. Kaya gumagamit ng skimcoat ay para maging smooth ang finish ng concrete and with the added polymer sa skimcoat naeenhance nya yung adhesion property even though wala pa sa 28 days ang concrete.

Bakit po matigas lihain yung skimcoat sa walling kahit kaka masilya lang? Bakit po kaya?

@@BUILDRITECONSTRUCTIONCHEMICALS maraming salamat po.Marami kasi nagsabi at nag suggest na pwede na daw po hindi lagyan ng skim coat sa outdoor kasi daw po masasayang lang daw po kasi daw po ay expose sa init at ulan at eventually matatanggal daw din daw po ang pintura, so Sabi Nila kahit wala nalang daw skim coat at pintura na daw directly po basta daw ang finishing o plastering ay maayos at makinis? Gaano po ito katotoo? Salamat po.

Hi, thank you for your inquiry. Yes, required pa rin pong mag primer kung Tofil 801 ang gagamitin nyo na skim coat. Pero kung Tofil 802 po, pwede na direct top coat.

Hi, thank you for your inquiry. Skim coat must be applied on bare concrete substrate. It will loose its adhesion strength and will cause powdering if applied to primed or coated wall.
