You did a such a wonderful job on both kitchen pieces, well done. You and your sister will have fabulous memories of your trip to France, I agree the old French architechure is stunning and that view from the castle was as breathtaking as the ancient castle itself, you are very blessed to have gone ❤

Hi Annie I love the island and glad you painted it yellow also, the Ikea one turned out really nice,are you happy now with the colour on the wall? as I love it. France is such a wonderful place to visit and the buildings and art is amazing, glad you got to enjoy some free time. Big hugs Dede xxxx

Hi Dede! Thank you ☺️ I liked the yellow color, but something didn't feel right for this room, so I mixed a new yellow with a bit more of a pink undertone and painted everything again 😅 I could barely see any difference while I was painting and no one in the family could see any difference at all... but now it's done, and I'm happy with how it turned out . I can't get enough of France. I love the nature and the architecture.😊

Hi Annie. Job well done converting the dresser to kitchen cabinetry. And so much inspiration for you in France! It always amazes me that you can travel through so many countries by car in Europe in such a short time. Our road trip from Ontario to Quebec took almost as many hours. Did you practice your French. We did….such fun! Your kitchen truly is coming together nicely. 💕Love Angie.

Hi Angie! Thank you 😊 Yes , even if it is intense to drive that far for that short of a period of just 6 days , it's totally worth it ! Hope you had a wonderful time in Quebec☀️ I did try a little bit of talking but I have a hard time understanding.... and my brain dosen’t always cooperate. 😅But I'm not giving up 😊
