Nice review, i had that removable ice dispenser on my last fridge. It was so handy! I do miss that feature on my new fridge, the convenience is amazing. Thanks for sharing.

I was looking at this one yesterday as I'm looking at a new fedige..read this one has problems.. compressor and ice maker...the 2020 model has drawers for herbs. Great review!!!!!..looking at the ge cafe fridge.

So far knock on wood we have not had any problems with ours.

I got the same model but in black stainless steel. Bought it in late 2016 and just recently broke down. I called around for repair and estimates and the all said its the compressor, est $900 for parts and labor.....they dont make them like they use to

My wife bought a Kenmore Elite in 2016 so far we have had to put in/had done replaced Aug 2017 compressor , Jan 2020 compressor , Nov/Dec2020 Evaporator. Condenser, Refrigerator/Freezer Assembly, Sensors. A sears tech has been to the house 8 times and the Ice/Water in door do not work . We have the Sears Home Warranty plan .They will replace it !!! give us 500.$ (wife payed 2500$) this refrigerator is made in Korea . We have a Whirlpool refrigerator for back up .

Wow, that is disappointing to hear. Knock on would everything has been fine with ours. I really love the whole set up and style of this frig. Thank you for sharing.

our is 5 years old and has failed 3x - it is dead again now....3 days for a tech -

well mine just broke and I've having a hard time finding someone who will fix it. I don't want to call Sears service they have rip off prices so i'm trying to find a third party. I had one guy show up for 5 min's pretend he did some work and then charged me a $70 diag fee... Gee thanks sherlock... I know it's not cooling. I hear the motor running, so it's got to be out of gas. how about seeing if you can pull a vacuum or add gas.. least pretend you did some work.

It is the biggest crap pile in refrigerators. Kenmore is the sorriest appliance on the market warranty and service. I bet in 2 years you will not be so happy with you investment.

@@californialife3191 I wish I could say the same thing here in North Carolina . It’s been an issue every year. From ice not coming out, top part not cooling, having to manually deforest it, computer board going out, and fan that started making sounds then stopped once I adjusted it, now the compressor😡 ..... I really thought I was buying top quality appliances. Hope you get years of service with yours. I would not wish this nightmare on anyone😡

I have 30 year old Kenmore still running strong never broke down. New Kenmore less than 5 years old shot crap $1000 repair
