The chippy look you are able to achieve is awesome. That would be the perfect product to use on my old window frames. The Dixie Dirt would be great to add to them. I really loved the finish you did on the little apothecary cabinet too so now I'm not sure which is best. I've learned so much from you. I'm not able to ever choose a favorite project. I just love them all. 💓

Thanks so much for a deeper look at fusion milk paint especially on a few different surfaces. I have been wanting to try it but now I feel like I am ready. I even have the same color, toasted coconut! I kept asking but couldn't get an answer....other milk paint needs a bonding agent but fusion doesn't right???? It seems that is the selling point of fusion is that it sticks to everything.... But still other people have said it does need a bonding agent. Thanks for sharing anyway...so glad to hear your experience.

Hi thanks for watching. I believe it’s Fusion mineral paint that’s less likely to need a primer but from my experience so far it depends on the surface and your prep are to whether you need to add an extra bond product. I just painted my display hutch, it was already vanished wood and my only prep was to clean with Dixie belles WhiteLightening cleaner and rinse that off, I had to force the crackle and distress. It stuck really well. I’d do a test area before deciding if surfaces need extra bond. Hope that helps. I’ll keep you guys updated as I use it more. 😊

Oh wow! I’m gonna have to give that milk paint a try!! I love the idea of resist with the wax too. Have you tried that with Dixie Belle chalk paint at all? I’m tempted to try that too.
