Frenchies are super hyper. Mine has occasional energy bursts where she just straight-up bolts through the house. She spends more than half her time in the house stealing shoes and running away from my dad.

Big thumbs up for addressing the health issues first. I'm sure good breeders can alleviate these problems over time.

My Frenchie Freddie is crazy always running around even after his long daily walk but I love him so much ❤️

Our Frenchie loves tearing around the backyard we can't catch him he is high energy during the day then lays around the later half of the day. He is fairly tolerant of our toddler.

I've been researching Frenchies for months and am picking up my fur baby tomorrow from a reputable breeder. Thank you for the video!

They actually do need quite a bit of exercise and A LOT of love.

My dog is the exception. Alot of energy and hyper. Very inquisitive dog.

I love that the first one is about overheating! This is a very important thing to keep in mind before getting a bulldog or pug. They do not do well in heat period.

The French Bulldog is one of my dream dogs to own and it's so sad that some people only want a Frenchie because of their cuteness. If I ever get a French Bulldog, I will make sure beforehand that I have enough money to pay for surgery to open the airways since they have a short muzzle.

We are getting a french bulldog this summer! We decided it would be great since im a bit lonely and depressed. Its gonna be mostly mine, but mom and dad are going to take care while im at school. Its gonna be fantastic. Norway can be cold in the winter but ill be sure to keep it at a nice temprature. We have a great place for walking. All around me we have short, middle and long places to walk with nice nature. Im just happy to get a bestie i can finally trust. We are getting a female and im thinking about either calling it Ekko (ecko) or Maja. Its gonna be a lot of work as a 13 year old but im so happy. Im thinking im gonna have a nice time with it.

Qwee , I’ve had my 2 years old bitch Frenchie for 2 weeks now. I got her because I suffer from very bad depression and never leave the house, I live on my own and thought this would give me a reason to get out and about. I live in Scotland which can be very cold too. This has been a wise choice as she has really brought some joy into my life, now I don’t feel stupid going out for a walk on my own and she gets me plenty smiles and conversation from the girls 😊 She is the most cuddliest dog I’ve ever seen, she would lie snuggling up on the sofa face to face all day and night if you let her. They are so funny and full of fun. I hope you get one because I know it would definitely help you with your depression. Good luck 😉

What a handsome Frenchie!

My frenchies are very energetic, it legit wall runs all over the house like black ops 3, it's mental. Everytime I look at them he is double jumping all over running against walls and chasing everybody.

I dog walk a Frenchie, he has to walk everyday! He has so much energy!

My auntie has a French bull dog. But it’s a small puppy one. ITS SOOOOO CUTE!!

My frenchie is 7 now and is still the furthest damn thing from low energy. Everything I read before getting him said they were low energy. I'm convinced they lied lol.

Actually French bulldogs have multilayer coats enjoy colder weather and have no problems in the snow. It is the Boston's that have the single layer.

Fonzie is 7 years old and dont like cold or to hot weather. Most of them are sensitive for heat. Some of them get problems with the back when they lack the tail vertebra. They could also have stomach issues who very much depend on what you give them to eat. Its a big dog in a small package who is happy and loyal if you treat them right. Fonzie was probably a gardener in a earlier life when summertime is flowertime and every flower and plant on the walk should be studied carefully regarding what Fonzie thinks if you dont want the evil bulldog eye. Keep an eye on them by the water when some are good swimmers and others could sink like a anchor. That was what Fonzie had to say. 🐾 🇨🇵

Mine is ace but he hates people and would never leave him with a stranger but he loves other dogs, full of energy yet can sleep like miss Beauty. A real one man dog, we have our fall outs be always end up chilling together. Great breed but just buy from a reputable breeder, see their parents too. Watch that hot weather though, it could kill them in an instance, conversely wrap em up in the cold, mine hates it but likes the rain? Oh and don't forget you turn into their personal beautician, cleaning their ears and folds, mine loves his ears being cleaned. Its effectively like having a bloody Gremlin :D

I work at a doggy daycare and both French and English bulldogs are the best breeds ever! English bulldogs are lazy and want snacks and head rubs and Frenchies just want to play all day lol.

My frenchie likes it cooler. The cold doesn't bother her TOO bad. But, we're only outside for a couple of minutes in the cold-cold so she can do her business, then I carry her back in so her paws don't get too cold. She def doesn't NOT like the heat! Other than that, she is the sweetest doggo ever.

Charlie And Lola INbreeding ya mean lol. At least they're not as bad as the English bulldog...now breeding that breed is borderline animal cruelty. The American bulldog and Olde English bulldog are going the right direction.

My Frenchy is one of the extremely energetic ones. He is a bit taller also, but has the stocky body.

We have a yr old gorgeous brindle girl called roxy she Is full of energy and is a delight to take on very boisterous walks she loves to jump up in the air runs flat out she has no breathing problems roxy has been checked by our vet he is amazed at her condition and muscular body roxy is easy to train and is excellent at our commands roxy loves everybody she meets including other dogs and children roxy has the zoomies every day We love her with all of our hearts 💕 she loves us back equally Oh yes she farts and snores a lot to lol 😂

What you need to know is they're awesome! But have major medical problems and over %40 die from cancer. Many become paralysed due to a weak spine and their allergies are insane. I know all this because my best buddy Dozer is currently dying from cancer at the ripe old age of 9... average life span for a French Bulldog is 8-10 years.....ill never have another one because it's too hard to watch them die so young

I thought you you left out some information. Frenchies have big, open ears that need to be kept clean to avoid infection. You can get medicine from the vet, but I've actually found baby wipes to be very effective. They also need their tears cleaned off their faces because they have dirt and enzymes in them that will stain fur. Baby wipes are also good for this. And don't let them swim.

It has «low energy» because they can’t breathe, therefore they get tired fast and sleep alot. And this is one of the reasons why people want these dogs -,-

I love my frenchie GEORGE ❤️ keep them active, don’t over feed them and we use salmon oil added to his diet of fresh , chicken , beef , lamb , cooked lambs hearts and basically he has plenty of veg and a variety of various human foods.... in my opinion the best dog breed in the world but , unscrupulous breeders are ruining the breed ... in England the weather is not to hot so as a rule they do fine .... winter coat on rule of thought if your hot your dog will be if cold like wise they’re a favourite in Spain as a lot of Spanish live in apartments and are walked early mornings and in the evening.... he is a character a much loved cherished family member our other dog (diesel) is an English bull terrier outstanding breed as a rule very little health issues a lot are deaf mind our boy isn’t but a lot are .
