I do this a lot because most of my recipes are two big for just my husband and I so I can divide them and bake one now and freeze the rest. I have four Pyrex loaf pans and four square Pyrex pans. I lay some plastic wrap in it, fill and freeze. Once they are frozen I pop them out and put in a bag and label and use the same pans over and over The meals stack nicely and I can unwrap and pop them back into the pan in the morning and thaw in the refrigerator.

I actually like having the recipes in the description box cause then I can just screenshot them. When I make the recipe, if we like it, then I write it down...along with any tweaks I might have made for our tastes....no waste of money on recipes I only use once. Having said this, I still really appreciate the work you put into making this video. I can see myself making a couple of things😊.

I also saved all my peels from veggies, put them in a gallon size bag in the freezer. When the bag was busting full, I'd take it out, put it in a large pan covered with water simmer for a couple hrs and let it sit until cooled, strain and I had the best veggie broth for all kind of uses. Freeze it in ice cube tray and use the amount you need.

One of my kids favorite snacks was, when I peeled potatoes, I cut a thicker peel. Then when the wanted them as a snack, I'd season them and bake them and crip them under the broiler. Made a few dipping sauces and they just loved their crispy potatoe skins!

A scoop of Vanilla-Icecream in cold cocoa ist popular, too. It's called Eis-Schokolade then. Both can be decorated with some whipped cream. So yummy. 😊

Thank you for these great ideas. I inherited my mom's bread bucket which is really just a large aluminum "bucket" with a dough hook and crank handle to help make large batches. It is just my husband and I now so I use the mixer and dough hook which is soo easy. There is nothing better than the smell of bread cooking and then slathering on butter and eating.

I watched your video before breakfast, and my mouth watered the entire whole time! Reminds me of my dad saying how well he ate as a child, (on a ranch in the wilds of Wyoming.) But nobody got fat because they all worked it off before lunch! (8 children and the parents lived in a two-room sod-house.) His mom was adept at making bread and my father said he could hear the resounding slap (to get rid of the air bubbles) that she gave the bread when he was playing outside. It looks like the men in your house eat pretty well! (But nobody in your house gets fat, either!) What time is dinner?? I'll be right over!! Mary (from Greeley, Colorado)

When I make enchilada cassarole, I cut some of the tortillas in half, place the cut edges against the straight edges of the pan, then fill in the blank spot in the middle with a whole tortilla (or 2 depending on the size pan used). Repeat for the second layer. This way I get a nice, even layers of tortilla throughout.

Hi Mary! Yes, I agree wholeheartedly that it's a great feeling to have homecooked food in the freezer awaiting the moment when you need something handy and fast. Right now I have lentil/kale soup and oatflour bread on tap. Do you ever light candles when you chop onions to burn away the harsh smell? It could be nice for you as well as good product placement for your line of candles!

Thank you thank you thank you for ALL the wonderful recipes. I am always looking for new ideas. I love that you showed us how you made each dish. My mother never made bread so I don't really know how to do it but you inspired me to try! ???? do you let the bread cool before packaging it up and I always worry about the bread being not done in the middle.....tips??? I actually hate to cook but you make everything look so easy. I have a corn casserole recipe we call "spaghetti corn" that we love and my little grandson even called me one day to get the recipe so he could make it and put the recipe in a school recipe book. He had to write out the recipe for the class. It's called "spaghetti" corn because you can use dry spaghetti or any type of pasta noodle in the dish. I so look forward to your videos!!! Have a blessed week!

Mary, I bake bread as well. I used to butter the tops of my loaves but I didn’t like the crust looking puckery-though we do love the buttery taste. I got interrupted one day as I was taking them out of the oven-so I removed them from the pans and intended to get right back and butter them-well, that didn’t happen. The tops of my bread were beautiful though! So no more buttering the tops for me. My family never missed the butter.

The lucky winners would get to meet you in person (maybe meet for lunch somewhere public Since I understand you have to be careful for safety reasons).
