Part 1: • Freeway Ricky: You Got...
--------
In this clip, Vlad started off speaking to Freeway Ricky about people asking him about investing in the marijuana industry, and Vlad explained that he’s stayed away because he doesn’t know much about the industry. Freeway Ricky explained that he initially was in 20 dispensaries, and he added that he’s in 6 stores now with a new strategy. Vlad then asked Freeway Ricky about his process for his own company, which he pointed out is similar to his time in the streets. This led to a conversation about the dangers and risks of Freeway Ricky’s past, which he said was netting him a 5% profit margin.

That 20% isn’t bad when you consider that it’s a passive investment over the course of hours in which he’s never personally ever handling the product. 20% over a year or two would be great for a legal investment. In that scenario you’re a middle man with (theoretically) trustworthy suppliers and dealers who take the bigger risk for bigger profits. The guys bringing it across borders or selling it in the street will expect to make more than 20% but they’re taking most of the risk.

It's a good read in GQ from 5yrs ago called The Great Pot Monopoly. "A secretive company called BioTech Institute LLC had begun registering patents on the cannabis plant. Three have already been granted, and several more are in the pipeline, both in the U.S. and internationally. And these are not narrow patents on individual strains like Sour Diesel. These are utility patents, the strongest intellectual-property protection available for crops. Utility patents are so strict that almost everyone who comes in contact with the plant could be hit with a licensing fee: growers and shops, of course, but also anyone looking to breed new varieties or conduct research. Even after someone pays a royalty, they can’t use the seeds produced by the plants they grow. They can only buy more patented seeds."

The best weed brands 710 Labs, Green Dot, etc have waiting lists for their drops and are generally making 3k-10k per pound retail. Like if they make rosin, full melt or sauce every pound they get yielding 100+ grams of concentrate per pound thats like 10k profit @ $100/gram which is why Green Dot hardly sells any flower (one of the reasons not to mention their hermed out grow). But average flower dispensaries are lucky to get $50/oz at this point and its flooded and hard for them to sell industrialization at its finest.

@Brisya, I'm trying to figure out what to label you, can't say you're not a hardcore user, but true Connoisseurs ain't loyal to a brand, and they know all cannibis ain't created equal. Every strain hit different especially when you get into hybrids or use both Indica and Sativa strains. You probably don't know the difference between indica And Sativa, just smoke anything and call it the same. That's lame.

Like with any business, you look for a supplier. That can give you a reasonable price. So you can make substantial profit. Rick wasn't the greatest business man. Also it's about how many times you flip the product. If you profit $200.000 every day. You're winning!

If you're not getting a million in bricks a day, you're not winning by much, and double is the bare minimum with any business for me. 100%profit and better like these white Corporations
