We stand by you Governer, Noem, that's why we came here, but unfortunately SD residents and locals (people who are from here) don't want the change or all the new people. We started a (child & family based) business here in Rapid City almost a year ago and we are finding out very quickly that RC residents are actively not participating with new businesses because they don't want it to turn into a metropolitan area. We first discovered this when we noticed that 95% of our clientele are not from here and have moved here from other places within the last 3-4 years. What they don't seem to realize is that by being that way they are turning into the very people they don't like. This is the land of freedom and we want to keep it that way, not change it.

Governor Noem...How is the housing market? Can it withstand the influx? Is the supply able to meet the demands?

I don’t care to relocate to Noem Country. I love my dogs. I need to live somewhere where veterinarians, not shot guns, provide animal care. And I’m a woman with adult daughters, so I need to live where obstetricians are allowed to practice 21st century, not 18th century medicine. And I’ve never been comfortable with women who choose to use their discretionary funds to alter their faces and teeth in the narcissistic pursuit of histrionic attention seeking. Yeah, Noem-land’s not for me. At least not until someone is charged with the felony crime of cruelty and death to Cricket the puppy. And the goat. Because that is in fact a felony crime in Noem-land.
