get coach vic to lock you in it and try the glowing emergency release handle ! :-) I would pay to see that!

Not to be picky, but do I see some rust starting on nuts underside? If so, BRP should have used stainless steel fasteners. Love the side sticker logos. I say for the price, fit and finish could be way better, all part of quality control and production line operation. While on the Spyder, I changed the oil on mine yesterday, tip, get Lamonster's replacement oil drain plugs. The BRP OEM's suck. One is a 6mm and one a 40 Torx as I recall, both are a headache and designed for only for dealer's removal.

Thanks for the report. I am not an fan of that type of trailer hitch. I like drop on hitch mount (looks like a pin). The floor cover, I like the truck bed cover, can be trimmed to fit. Be careful not to spring the lid hinge’s.

Excellent follow-up video. Let's hope the Freedom folks see it and address some of their quality control issues.

I have a USA trailers black shadow. I picked it up at the factory in SC. Only issue I have had is loose lock hardware (blue loktite fix) and paint damage. It is rated for 350 lbs which matches the spyder's limit.

You made a very thorough video. Thanks ! I kinda wanted a trailer at one time, but I changed my mind last year. If I ever get my new truck , I may buy a trailer to haul the Spyder. This chip shortage stinks.

My wife and I have a 2013 . I put ride-on in my tires to balance them. Also greased wheel bearings. I need another lid seal. We love ours.

Very nice thorough review of the Freedom trailer. Just my personal opinion, CanAm's pricing is very high for what you get, but in their defense, if the trailer is in demand, premium pricing will be in CanAm's favor.

Absolutely spot on with your review Coach Bob. I still get a chuckle when I recall sending you pictures of the inside of the lid on our Freedom trailer after picking it up from the dealer last year. It looked just like yours and I thought the lid had fallen off somewhere during shipping and had been glued back on by the dealer prior to selling it as new to me. 😂Your response and pics at the time set my mind at ease. After a year of use, we absolutely love the trailer and would recommend it to everyone as well. Ours is full of our beach gear ready for those weekday retiree trips to Dana Point CA for R&R!

Coach, I am thinking off the top of my head about the a solution to the inside of the trailer rubbing issues from the wheelchair, maybe get those peel decals you buy for motorcycle gas tanks that keep your knees from damaging it. That might work on the inside if you put them on the areas of the rubbing. Of course it is already scratched but it may keep it from further damage. Just a thought.

You need a stand for your trailer I want one but still cant afford one, and a another excellent video CoachBob big thumbs up.

I'm a new owner of a 2022 Spyder RT Limited. We are very pleased with it so far. We are trying to find a Freedom trailer. Where do you get them? When I asked the local Can Am dealer about buying one, they had no clue and had never heard of one. I really enjoy watching your channel. Thank you for all you do!

I got mine at a BRP/Can Am Dealer in Columbus, GA. They were pretty hard to find when I got mine. I looked on cycle trader. Where are you located and I will see what I can finds in your area.

Bushtec, the best motorcycle trailers ever built. I bought one at the Sturgis rally in 1992 and still using it.

for$4000 brand new, you would think that their quality would be better. Word of mouth goes a long way.

Where did you find your trailer? I am hacing trouble finding actual Can Am trailer.

What is the best mode to tow the trailer ?

Do you have to get a separate license for the trailer itself? Do you have to pay annually for the tag or is it a one time fee (I know it will depend on what state you live in).

It is a separate plate and I do pay annually for the tag. I also carry an insurance policy for the trailer. Thanks for watching.

I own an older Roadwagon trailer and the dealer told me that I can not pull it with a spyder because any other wiring will "throw off" the computer on the Spyder. Any truth to that? I love my trailer and feel I don't need to buy theirs.

I have several friends that are running different kinds of trailers. Ranging from the most basic to very expensive Bushtec's I ran the BRP Freedom trailer due to what you mentioned in this comment. Hindsight being 20/20... none of my friends have had any issues whatsoever. They are running an adaptor to convert their flat pins to the four pin as on the Spyder. I think you'll be fine. @@CoachBob3 Thanks Coach, I'll look into that. I figured the salesman was blowing smoke. I pulled my trailer many miles behind my 2008 HD Roadglide (that I just sold to a friend) and loved it. I now own a trailer but nothing to pull it with :( A Can-Am Spyder RT Limited is what will pull it next and should pull it much better as well. My wife and I just love your videos :) May God continue to Bless you and your wife.
