You are so welcome! I got the idea from you and Laurie few months (year???) ago :) you did lovely dresses in a live and I wanted to do some myself since but I was scared with the proportions, how to start that etc …. this is why I came out with a pattern! :)

There's a product called "Paverpol" which you can soak lace, fabric, muslin, T-shirting (any fabric in) and arrange it anyway you want to - when it dries out the shaping and draping are permanent (and you can do it in a way that makes the "garment" 3D). It's normally used for making figurines and putting "clothing" onto them; also for outdoor sculptures. If you have an arrangement where you can "hang" these laces and scraps from (like your little coat hangers or similar), soak them in Paverpol, and drape them as desired, you'd be able to make Christmas tree ornaments which are permanent and weatherproof, even for outdoor usage. Also they can of course be painted, stained, glittered etc.

you can find some on Etsy or even Amazon and I have a couple of each size in my Anne’s Favorite box and soon to come ( later this weeks), in my Etsy shop (OdulcinaJournals) as part of a goodies bundle of all great, cute and must have charms.

I love this. I don't have a printer. Do you mail these patterns? Where did you get the hangers from? I'm planning on making pins and needles sewing book and this would be beautiful on the front cover.

I’m just like you, no printer, but we could draw the dress figured on to card stock, I’m also wanting to make a few needle books, when I get time, I also thought this would be a great project to add to that. I have the hanger’s, she sells them in the box of Anne’s favorite things on her Etsy shop. She also has a great video on a sewing book she made, it’s beautiful, and very practical,useful, if you haven’t seen that video you might want to check it out, I hope that helps. 😊❤

It is just one printed paper but to mail it from Canada, that would be very expensive for just one paper. You can download the file (the freebie) on a usb key, go to copy center (like Staples for example) and get it printed for you there. For the hangers, the Anne’s favorite box contains some and I am about to add a bundle of little things to decorate junk journal that I use over and over (the green bag in the video intro). It will contain big and small hangners, wax seals, paper clips, pink little flowers, mini coffee stain tags, cameo … coming soon, please watch the OdulcinaJournals Etsy shop if you are interested. :)
