Please try Saral Jeevan Bima plan. IRDAI has made compulsory for all the insurance companies to sell one term insurance plan with this name.

Policybazaar is a great tool if you want to compare different companies' different plans. Plus they also provide support during time of claim otherwise you are on your own if you buy directly from insurance companies.

Why to take term insurance when we can invest in SIP?? SIP will be better option than insurance only if you survive that long time that will make few thousand/lakhs a few crores. You wont get that large amount if you die within 2 years of starting the SIP. In term insurance you are covered after you pay your first premium only.

You can go with any good company's Term Insurance plan. The company should have a good reputation. Make sure the company has good claim settlement and amount ratio. Unlike Health Insurance the issue with claims not being passed or passed partially is very low in term insurance.

I'm not aware of such a rider. But suicide is not covered for first 1 or 2 years. You will have to read policy documents for this specific detail.

Sir question is but difficult but I hope you will answer, If someone has illnesses or case scenario ( uncommon presentation of common conditions) which are rare, for example young onset Parkinson disease . In which disease can continues for more than one or two decades and progression is unpredictable. So for such customise situation , is there any plan, provision or some solutions?

Worst is maxlife insurance once you are in then there is not exit. You can enter online but for you can't exit online. They will threat you for not paying your premium. For agents : your first policy can be alloted by their branch means you can't get commission. Worst is term plan for their agents they don't value you and you will be kicked out you without commission if you miss the target.

Yes. coverage starts after 30 days of waiting period. Other than exclusions all claims are covered. For exclusions read policy documents.

I would suggest you to buy one since once you get retired from your job you won't be covered & it will become tough in that age to get a good plan. One of my friends got retired and within a year he was hospitalized and he had to pay the whole bill since his dad was not covered anymore.

Generally Insurance companies ask for income proof. So in the case of students without any income proof insurance companies won't issue policies. But you can still learn about insurance this will come into use in future.
