    I think the scalability problems only apply if a p2p network is dense. Sparse p2p models exist in plenty of applications (e.g. torrenting).

    Are you suggesting that an Australian presenter, working for an Australian university should try to put on a fake accent of some kind to somehow make it more understandable for others? What's your suggested fake accent? Or should he record each lesson multiple times in various accents? Or maybe he should learn multiple languages. I can't believe that after more than 2 hours of informative material, that's your only feedback.
