I really like this method of learning. Students learn all in different ways and this covers all the bases. It covers visual, auditory, and touch plus muscle memory.

When I think of multi-sensory, I think of all the learning modalities.
= fun and messy
When you think of multi-sensory activities, do you automatically think of messy materials, like shaving cream? If that’s what comes to mind for you, type “messy” in the comments!

I worry about the sand getting messy when my students are independent.. I use strips of sandpaper instead!
