The best bar where they have the most delicious calamares in Madrid call El Brillante just in front Atocha Station on the other side .....that bar should be 5 stars , its very famous , even come people of France to eat in It , Madrid is a country within of Spain , its a great city with a Subway and buses everywhere , you dont miss anything and people is always ready for helping the foreigners Have a good travel across Spain !

We're at the end of our trip now and actually staying at the very same Aire in Madrid - great find. We have a day trip planned for tomorrow before heading off to Burgos and then back to Santander on Monday.

Thanks for such good videos. Just for your info, it is Plaza Mayor not mayo. Every regional capital has a Plaza Mayor which translate means the main square and is usually the center of the town

Thanks Diana, the flame 🔥 really brought home to me just how lucky we are.

Take the vents off and also need to put some 12v fans into circulate air. To be fair our dometic 8 double height fridge isn’t phased as much by heat. You could put a portable fan or circulate air. Obviously running on gas makes it a bit cooler. Hope works well for you rest of trip.

Hey Paul, we have fridge fans fitted to every van and that helps a little. It’s this heat mate, none of our fridges have ever coped well in this hear.

Nice historical facts. Was that a Yellow Umbrella tour? I took one in Krakow.

Hi guys I’m loving the channel and I’ve been subscribed since I started thinking about touring Spain 2or 3 years ago and this year we are following in your footsteps and going through Madrid. We want to stay at the park up you did and go on the free tour with Sebastian, my question is if we arrive at the park up around 8pm will the owner be there or can we book in advance? Ps loving Florida and the keys it’s on my bucket list take care and keep making the videos, cheers Graham

Thanks for the support and your kind words Graham. The owner stays on site so it should be fine, however in your case I would just ring ahead on the day your heading there and just check that they’re not full and to ensure turning up late would be okay.

I really was!!

geart video, all most like being there with you, wishfull thing lol, have you tried taking you 2 vents off the out side back of the fridgethis allows more airflow, beleave it or not it do'es work, also when you get home put 2 12v fans in conected to a thermostat module you can then set it to turn the fans on at the temperature of around 25/28c it will force air over the fins in the back of the fridge , not trying you teach you to suck eggs, but they do work in the heat over there. Stay safe and HAPPY TRAVELING

Yes we’ve had fridge fans fitted to every Motorhome, they’re an essential when travelling these hot countries, but they still can’t cope at these high temperatures

Sure it runs off the leisure batteries most of the time, but it does suck the power so when we’re not in electric hook up we plug the fridge into the Jackery

Croatia is our absolute favourite travel destination! We’ve spent a few summers over there, but all before we started filming!

Interesting vblog. Though rather you than us going travelling in a motorhome in very hot weather. Sweep said I bet you could fry a egg on the front of your bonet with that heat. Remember the song 🎵 Only Mad Dogs and English Men Go Out In The Miday Sun 🌞

Sweep is very sensible! Thankfully we have air conditioning to help with the evening heat, and swimming pools for the daytime

It’s my favourite time of the year. Going on holiday with the Radfords. Madrid looked very interesting. Glad you got to see it when it wasn’t busy, and the heat not as strong, otherwise George would probably have needed to go back sooner. Harry seemed to love it. As for THE elusive Eddie, well, spotted him on a few occasions.😂😂 Great vlog, just need to see at least one were you’re both tipsy, as it’s a joy.😂👍😉❤️

I’ve not seen my “dealer” in too long!

I love the videos, but am struggling to find out what order they come in. I saw the first video with the ferry and spain entry anxiety, leading towards Burgos. Is there one between that and this one? I hope you can get them put on a play list so it is easier to follow. I'd love to try this journey one day.

Nope the winter covers are off and we have fridge fans fitted but still always the fridge fails every time

Just wondering were you running your fridge on tricity as I do not think they are great that selection.> We were in Germany in the 2020 heatwave and fridge worked fine and the food in freezer stayed fully frozen . We never hook up as go no aircon ( gas far cheaper than electricity ) so was running totally on gas. I have got fans drawing the hot air out the top vent 24/7 also but do not know if is helping or not..

Dan they were on 😳🤦🏻‍♀️ it was just so hot the fridge couldn’t cope. Thankfully, the next day was ouch cooler!

We have 3 computer fans 12v really helps when we went to Spain but they are a bit loud but does help the fridge especially when turn the van so they are in the shade

We never book anything and just make it up as we go along, however we use the Park4night app and www.searchforsites.co.uk to find sites and park ups

@@RoamingRadfords I’m sure, but they aren’t in any order this end. It’s the way KZread regurgitates them. It’s all suggestive, despite subscribing, once inside your channel they run back to front, the system is flawed and only favours control by using notifications. Plus the smart TV’ version of KZread is limited with its menu options.
