I'm currently taking the ITIL 4 Foundation course and find it very hard to study. These videos and the ones going over key factors have made it so much easier. I'm taking my exam tomorrow and am very confident because of these videos. Just wanted to say thanks for all the help.

Hi Runner Your feedback is very much appreciated :) We did have some of them in our portfolio for some time, but the interest was not that high, so we decide to develop other resources (for example our full ITIL 4 Foundation eLearning including the exam as well). Tell me how to remember the impact of different practices on value chain activities? For example engage plan etc? There are a lot of them ..thanks

Unfortunately, I am not aware of an easy way to remember all of that. To answer those kind of exam questions correctly, it is probably best to study the purpose statements of the practices well enough. This would ensure a basic understanding, which would help to relate the practices to the SVC activities. All the best, Alex

Thank you. however, I note that it is easier for a native English speaker to take the exam. other countries have to first translate correctly into their own language and then answer the questions correctly. additionally allocate 15 minutes. if the material would be translated into other languages ​​of the world, it would be easier

You are absolutely right. It is indeed harder for non-native English speakers, however, I always recommend taking the exam and course in English as translations are not always that precies. It sure, can. Especially in case of Major Incidents. But clear interfaces should be defined in the practice about who, when and how can initiate disaster recovery.

Probably the best advice would be to learn the purpose statements of each practice, so you understand what the goal of those is. And then you can relate that goal to the Service Value Chain activities with some basic logic. E.g. Q: How does the Incident Management practice contribute to the Improve activity? A: Incidents are key to improvement activities, as they can show us what needs improvement. Hope this helps. Cheers, Alex

Hi Autumn There are many people who told us in the comments, that they passed using only our videos and some mock exams. Nevertheless, I generally suggest to take an official course or at leas buy the book. Our videos concentrate on the most important stuff, which is mostly enough, but they don't cover the full syllabus. All the best, Alex

I have a similar question in my mock test as Q6. What does the service request management depend on for maximum efficiency? a)compliments and complaints b)self-service tools c)problem management d)incident management apparently the correct answer is C, is this a mistake? I am very confused

Hi Vojta To be honest, those answer options you mentioned confuse me as well. At this point I suspect, that they are actually missing the correct one. I checked the official mock exam set, provided by PeopleCert and found this question an the options are: a) Compliments and complaints b) Self-service tools c) Processes and procedures d) Incident Management And in this case, C is actually correct. Thanks for the comment. It is indeed one of the harder questions. But you can relate this question to the Continual Improvement Model, which also starts with asking the question "What is the vision?". Because any improvement initiative, which we would like to implement (inlcuding optimization of anything), should alway support the overall goals and vision of the organization.
