This video never fails to make me cry. I'm a 17 year old male and I'm PROUD of being emotional when watching videos like that... this should happen every day and everywhere, it gives at least some seconds of humanity to our daily lives. Amazing!

This is beautiful. Recently, a group of 4 people at my college: 3 guys and 1 girl approached me and said "quick survey: which one of us would you rather hug." I looked at all of them and pointed to her and said "her". They were going to walk away, when I asked "do I get my hug now?" I hugged the girl and and left and I had an uncontrollable smile for the rest of the afternoon. This kind of social experiment really does work, IN A GOOD WAY!

Ive watched this at least 20 times and I cry every single time. Theres just something about seeing your fellow brothers and sisters loving eachother without reason, without hate or judgement... just sharing love for those who need it.

What for? To spread love or Corona.

It's such a cliche but there is something lovely about it, to hug with random person on the street. You don't even know this men or women and propably never will but for a moment you can feel a big relief sharing simple humans feeling.

Indeed. I'm a young man of 25 years, and no matter how many times I've watched this, I still end up weeping. Something like this has the ability to stir emotions deep within oneself, and it also serves as a powerful reminder of the lasting impact one simple, kind gesture can have.

Faith, hope, and love. The greatest of these is love !

After seeing this video in December of 2010, it inspired me to make a trip to Italy, and Sondrio in particular in 2011. This town was just full of the most lovely, friendly people, as was every city we visited. We're planning another trip to Italy next fall, and Sondrio is on the top of my list for visiting. It feels like home to me.

I just watched it and for no reason I just started crying too. I think it's because deep down we all wish we could just love one another like this.

This is one of my favorite videos to watch!! The voice is incredible, the lyrics are touching, and the hugging of complete strangers is very sentimental. I cry every time I see this.

It brings tears to my eyes as well, especially when I start moving my mouth along with the words. It's a great way to start the morning, and a wonderful way to end the night, as I'm doing right now.

I did this with a a friend this week here in Santa Monica. It was amazing. Very well received and a lot of fun. Highly encourage everyone to give it a try. You'll be happy you did and you'll make the world ever-so-slightly better. Win!

This always brings a tear to my eye because it makes me think of my mother who passed away a couple years ago. It makes me think of her because she was the kind of person who would be the first to give a hug to the person with the sign because she would think,"they needed it". She was that kind of person and I miss her and her hugs every day.

This just shows that there's a lot of love in this world!! So good to see people who don't even know each other hugging with that passion and that kinda love! :D

Quando vedo stessi video fatti negli USA o fatti a Parigi è tutta un altra solfa: la gente corre da lontano per saltare addosso a chi ha il cartellone con "free hugs" anche se è solo per gioco o per un video. In italia siam tutti chiusi. Persone tristi, paese triste.

I just watched almost four minutes of people hugging. I loved it and it was worth it. the world need more of this!

I always say that a hug can save a life but you also have to be good looking. Someone who looks like me gets called names and made fun of. But I'm glad hugs were given.

Già, facile abbracciare sconosciuti, o scrivere frasi fatte come la tua.... Meno facile sopportare (abbracciare) le persone conosciute, vicine, che danno fastidio (alcuni fra i vicini di casa o i.... Berlusconi). Per questo il tuo post è fuori contesto; oppure è banale lo stesso video

1:09 Ehm, "abbracci liberi" is the wrong translation... "liberi" means free, but not like "without cost", like "without restraint" or "without obligations" xD "Gratis" was the right word for this.

If I don't watch this video at least once every week or two, I feel like I'm missing something. There are dozens of these "Free Hugs" videos on KZread, but this one is the best... and my favourite moment will ALWAYS be at 2:55 when the woman starts to DANCE as she walks away from her hug. You can tell it made her day... and of course who WOULDN'T be in tears hearing Alexandra Burke singing Halleluyah?

I just love people who do this, although I've never had enough courage to do it myself. These people are pure awesome.

This video is special to me in particular because it was shot on my birthday, AND I was actually in Italy on this same day, in Rome. "Hallelujah" is one of my favorites - the original by Leonard Cohen, the outstanding Jeff Buckley cover, and now Alexandra Burke also doing the song justice.

Love this video...love the sentiment and hope in the message. If we could all be like this...can you imagine how our world would be. All we can do is pray that each of us can try to be kind to one another and if enough of us do it, we will have made others' lives better.

Sick Puppies wrote a song just for this Free Hugs campaign, it's called All The Same. Please watch a video and listen to it. Makes me cry every time! Love all these videos! Makes my heart happy. :) Hugs to all from Texas.

I have always been in love with Italy and Italians .. this video even made me like fond with it all! the video made me smile, i watched it like 4 times .. and still not getting enough! I just loved it :)
