Thank you, I got a notification about spotify price going up (again) and my biggest concern about changing to Apple Music was the playlists.

Your instructions apparently do not work with the current version of the app. It no longer allows you to transfer music for free. The app looks very different now. so now I am having to move all of my songs manually so it is very time consuming and tedious.

THANK YOU for this helpful vid! I moved hours and hours of music from KZread Music and Amazon Music all to Apple Music in literally less than an hour. I hated jumping between apps for all my music and without this vid, I’d still be doing that! NO COSTS on the shift and I moved hundred of songs.

So i have music on apple music from when i had the subscription, but i haven't been able to pay for it lately and since i already have amazon prime i am using amazon music now. Its really annoying that i cant just log into my account unless i fully subscribe again! just to go look at all my music on there🙄😭 its so annoying. But anyways i wanna know if i can still transfer the music to amazon music if im not currently subscribed to apple music? Or do i need to remain subscribed to both music subscriptions while apple music songs would be in my amazon music? If that makes sense...🤔🤷🏼‍♀️

You can freely transfer playlists (one at a time) up to 200 songs. If there are more than 200 songs, or you want to transfer multiple playlists at the same time, it does require a pro subscription ($6.99 per month or $29.99 per year; as of 2023/11/16) or a one-time purchase of $59.99. With that context out of the way, the songs are *NOT* deleted from the source. For example, I just now transferred a playlist with 118 songs in it from Apple Music to KZread Music. Now, both music services have that same playlist with the same 118 songs. It's a really nice tool (but the free options are somewhat limited).

It requires a Apple Music subscription to pick it as a destination otherwise it is not working 😢😢
