❤️ Andrea’s Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins
1.5 cups of all-purpose flour
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 medium ripe bananas
1 large egg
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
As many chocolate chips as your heart desires!
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees
2. In a large bowl, mash the bananas. Add egg, oil, and vanilla. Mix all the ingredients together.
3. Stir in the dry ingredients and blend everything together until smooth.
4. Add as many chocolate chips to the batter as you like and mix (I use about 1/2 cup).
5. Line a muffin pan and fill it with batter until each cup is about 1/2 full.
6. Bake for approx 16-22 minutes or until a fork inserted in the center comes out clean. Let muffins cool on a wire rack.
Enjoy!

“Shopping your home” is crucial. I’ve bought so many containers & baskets over the years that buying new containers is totally unnecessary. In recent years,I check to see if I can repurpose a container that I already own before buying a new one.

I agree completely The Good Will is not affordable to the individuals who trulyare in need. For having all items donated they price to high. I've seem dollar tree items for double the cost.
You are SO right about donating to “other than Goodwill!” I don’t usually hear that tip, but it’s a great one! I always enjoy your videos!

I agree Goodwill charges way too much. I'd much rather give away/donate to those organizations that give products away free and/or only charge a minimal amount.

I use cardboard boxes, too. If you want them to be pretty and/or coordinate, use craft paint, spray paint, or wallpaper/peel&stick paper to cover the outsides.

Boots one up, one down gives you more space...if you are vertical, you can use a clothespin to hold them together if you go all soles down

This made my day. I just told my roommate why I do this with my kitchen glasses. With four roommates in less than a year, who knows what happened to them. I had 24 a year ago and I am down to six. I am not a bad roommate, some of them were actually couch surfers.

Enjoying your videos on organizing/decluttering & diy hacks! I'm really glad you took the time to mention more specifically how to access local donation centers. Our communities so need these resources & the services they all provide. Like you mentioned, I enjoy/specifically donate to churches & the Red Cross when I want items to be given directly to people in need. I also still donate to Goodwill... as their overall focus tends to be more toward helping those in need by utilizing the $ from sales to assist those who are disabled &/or unemployed with getting up/back up on their feet... career services (resume writing, job training/interviewing skills), financial literacy & even assistance with securing housing in some areas. Our communities need them all! 🌼 🙂

Wow! How wonderful, now the kiddos who visit will have a great time crafting with their grandma and grandpa! I have a similar assortment and now that I see that the 12 drawer unit can do the job, I am aiming to get one! I love the uniformity of organization it provides for its miscellaneous contents. Decluttering is so important and I LOVE that you always do it! It shows you really know what your doing!!! You did amazing and this was great advice for us to do it for our selves! Clutter is just items that don’t have a home- you find their homes instead of “organizing” stuff that’s just going to build up again in wrong place! Love it!!!

For we are selling My moms other house and I’m moving back in with her and her farm has several bldgs on it. So I will have my own spot. That closet could use another shelf added above the existing one. That's too much open space from the shelf to the ceiling. Actually both closets need another shelf added to them. Every home I've moved to we have added a second shelf in every closet. It makes a world of difference.

What if there's not much space to put the items as you take them out of the closet to sort? Example: I noticed you were able to pull all of the winter items and put them pretty much right outside of the closet. I have a really small area to work when cleaning out my really small closet.

i always hear: clutter can't be organized---declutter first. maybe that applies?
While erecting your shelf in the lvng, in the corner is a white barn door cupboard.....do you know where purchased? In my "coat (winter) cupboard" I make sure to hang up cedar. It has come a long ways from moth balls!!!!

Love all that you did! Sadly I have an ENTIRE basement of 16 YEARS of “I’ll deal with it later” I can barely go to our basement without anxiety and tears! I can’t even figure out what to do with it all! Organizing it turns my stomach. Christmas overload…. It’s all too much!

Curious, why do you face the coat openings toward the right? I've always put them facing the left. Is it a right hand/left hand thing?
