In Europe we use word pavement instead of sidewalk.

Could you please rectify the followings: We also in Canada, at times, will put down hardwood floor and in somewhere in your lecture you also used the phrasal verb 'put down' like We often put tile down. put tile down and put down hardware. why can not I write like. put hardwood down?? and the top might be made with plastic and hardwood made of a lot of materials.
