    Overlay says "3.3k uF 100V capacitor" (actually it uses "uf" and "v" but I don't think poor capitalisation makes that much difference) but the video is of a 16V cap. This is the second video I've seen of Mextraf's that does this. I'm only an amateur so is there something I'm not understanding about this?

    K = 1000 --> 3.3 x 1000 = 3300 I use a 16V 3300uf capacitor , because it was available to me And i wrote 3.3k and 100 volts so that the capacitor does not explode on whoever will apply this idea !!

    ​@@Mextraf 1. Stick to standard notation. Nobody uses k with capacitors, since the values practically always are less than 1 farad (and never, ever go up to the thousands -- a kilofarad would be _insanely_ huge). (Only supercaps have >1F capacitances, but still within single digits, and only at low voltages!) So if you have a thousand of a much smaller division, like uF, you just move up to the next prefix. Here, that'd be 3.3mF (millifarad). You wouldn't say 4.7kpF, you'd simply say 4.7nF. 2. Don't be so sloppy with capitalization. Kilo is k (not K), farad is F (not f), etc. It matters, because some letters (like m) mean different things depending on capitalization: 1M ohm and 1m ohm are both real-world values that actually get used, and they mean wildly different things. (They differ by a factor of 1 billion.)

    The capacitor was rated only 16 volts not 100 & the voltage generated is exceeding 16 volts. That cap will blow.

    He bolts the wheel back on to his hoverboard and scoots round the neighbourhood for a couple of hours to charge the drill.
