It might seem like an off the wall question and I know its illegal to litter and so on, but how well do free campers take care of areas like this? Are there messes left over when they leave? Does anyone dump their "tanks" in the desert? If they do do they ever get caught? You love your RV, I love your videos.

Passed by there, on the way out of Lake Meade. What is the advantage of this place over the lake?

How easy is it to find wild camping (boondocking) in the US. I have seen plenty of people being moved on by the police in Santa Barbara, CA.

It's pretty easy the further you get away from any major cities, especially out in the desert areas of the southwest. In the east it is much harder due to the amount of private owned land and population density. Where we boondock there really is no police, just rangers or camp hosts to monitor things. Some places you don't even see that.

any good mineral collecting out there? Where is the nearest dumping station?

  • @LoveYourRV

There are a few RV Parks in Overton and about 10 miles down the road is Echo Bay campground in Lake Mead NRA or Valley of Fire has a dump station in the campground, I think it's 10 bucks to use. Not sure about mineral collecting but I know the area has had lots of mining activity over the years.

Love that free BLM land. By the way, BLM = Bureau Of Land Management, but you knew that. Thanks for another good video. Happy Camping!
