March 8th being International Women’s Day Ramaiah Ayurveda organized free Ayurveda specialty consultations for women throughout the month of March. This was a part of our continued yearly celebration of “Stree-BlissfulWomanhood” since its inception from 2021. A free BMD Camp was also conducted as a part of the above celebrations on 9th & 13th March 2024. The camp was primarily targeted for Women above the age of 40yrs & Men above 50yrs. 250 people had enrolled for the camp .Early detection can help prevent progression of osteopenia to osteoporosis in women. Those detected with osteoporosis can benefit from the associated symptoms by turning towards Ayurveda which addresses the problem holistically & help check further deterioration of the existing condition. All the people who attended the camp were given mini Ayurveda kits as a token of love from Ramaiah Ayurveda. The success of the event was a combined and dedicated team effort from all the staffs of RISA under the guidance & direction from Dr. Krishnamurthy J (Dean) & Dr. Krishna J (Medical Superintendent)
