Free BLM Camping off of Cave Rock Road - Wilson Arch - Hole 'N' The Rock - Hiking - Moab Utah
I was out exploring BLM land and found a perfect dispersed camping/rv camping/boondocking spot just south of Moab Utah. My new camping spot has spectacular views and huge sandstone mountains dominating the surrounding area. Nearby was Wilson Arch and Hole N The Rock attractions I had to check out. Less than half a mile from my campsite I explored a sandstone cave etched out of the side of a mountain. Thanks for watching Folks!

You keep mentioning 14 days dispersed camping but whose counting the days? Are there some BLM folks coming around checking to see how long you have been there? How do you remember how you got back to your camp site? Do you have a handheld GPS device? I’ve never ever camped before but I’m interested. Does it feel weird being the only person at some of these spots?
@DispersedCamperMan
Ай бұрын
Thanks for the comment! Nobody counts the days but you. If a ranger goes by and sees you camping, then comes back by three weeks later, he'll know you have over stayed your time limit. There are some, not many BLM spots that rangers do come by often to ensure you are not over staying your time limit. I mainly use my iPhone with google maps on it to find my way around. If I'm going to be in an area with no cell service, I just download the area maps prior to arriving. It definitely does not feel weird being the only person in a spot. I definitely prefer to be the only person around in an area. If there are to many folks where I want to go, I normally keep driving till there aren't to many folks around.
