Thanks for nice review! Seems that you own Audiotechnica m50, I bough one on Ebay, in used condition, but they have a bit muffled high frequencies and lack of volume (maybe because I used them with my integradet audio into PC without DAC or amp). are good these headphones for mixing in your opinion?

I use them for mixing and mastering but I run a couple pairs of headphones for comparisons. Mine also have huge ear pads which changes the sound alot. They are seen as monitoring headphones generally and not recommended for mixing and mastering though I use them for that all the time. For me I needed a pair I could wear for a long time without getting ear pain and these are easily the most comfortable headphones I have ever owned (with the ear pad adjustment) so I use a lot of other headphones and environments when checking a project to test it rather than going for an "ideal" set.

@@ComposingGloves Thank you for the reply, yeah for me - they also seems to be really comfortable. I found the plugin which is called "Realphones" and it seems that can give a feel of real monitoring boxes and different ambiences like "In Car", "TV" and others, so in 1 click I can check how it will sound on different devices. In theory sounds awesome, remains to check how it behaves in real use with this M50
