Thanks for the suggestions! 1 skein projects make great gift knits! I recently made the Reyna shawl - a free pattern on Ravelry with 1 skein of fingering weight yarn. I love it and plan on making more for gift knits!

Great podcast, thank you. Loads of lovely things in here, the glacier cowl looks beautiful, I might just have to cast this on very soon - am in need of a nice small project after several swatching for a jumper disasters - need cheering up & that looks like it might do it.

The headband and Cowl from Mirella Moments I would love to make for my mom. I've done a pattern from Purl Soho, the Lovely Leaf Lace Scarf. Not a one skein though but really beautiful. They have great patterns and a free way of learning new techniques.

I made the tin ceiling dishcloth you showed from Purl Soho for my mom. It was a great pattern although it did take awhile!! The result was so beautiful, so it was well worth it!

I also knit the Reyna and another good one is lightweight hipster by joji and she has a new one skein shawl called The Lone Skein shawl. But those aren’t free. Sockhead Slouch is a good one too

Yes! It's this one: www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/plant-lady Nice pattern, but I will say there was no way I would have been able to make the size S with the amount of yarn the pattern states, so I had to crop the body quite a bit. Otherwise very well written!
