What do you get when you combine the latest men’s collection from Frederique Constant with its world time in-house-calibre? The answer is the Highlife Worldtimer Manufacture. The globe engraved dial with its contemporary 41 mm steel case is sure to awaken the wanderlust in you. To celebrate the arrival of the Highlife Worldtimer Manufacture, Frederique Constant has created not one, not two, but three options to wear it. The integrated interchangeable bracelet/strap from the Highlife collection has become one of its characteristic features and Frederique Constant wanted to emphasise its importance. The first option is a polished and satin-brushed three-link steel bracelet with folding buckle, the second is a blue strap with silky nubuck finish and the third is a blue rubber strap to complement the urban feel of the watch.

Great review. Have been wearing this watch constantly for a month now. It rivals watches costing 5X as much in my collection. It's brilliantly sized at 41mm (not too big, not too small) and the shape wears much thinner on the wrist than the 12.9mm would suggest. The bracelet is an extremely comfortable work of art. No need for half links since the links are so small. Plus its one of the few world timers with a date feature which is a must for me. Great job by FC all around on this one. Would love to see a Highlife Slimline Monolithic next.

Hi Alexander. Do you by chance know the strap lengths of the included straps? Also, have by chance ever looked at a Nomos Zurich World Time? If so, how would you compared the dials? I don't know if it's just the sun brightness or what it may be, but the FC dial almost looks like a low-quality plastic in the video and definitely not something found in a higher-end watch. It looks much deeper and richer in FC's marketing photos so I would love your opinion and insight on the dial quality itself. Also did you find the red GMT and +-1 to take away from the cleanness of the dial while wearing it? They really stick out in the video. I am between this and the Nomos and wondering which might sit best on 16.5cm wrist and which also looks higher quality in person. Thanks in advance for any feedback you may have and thanks for making the video!

Reality often differs from the photoshopped pictures... You should try to compare both watches at the same time on your wrist and see them in different light conditions... they will both perfectly fit on your wrist, that's for sure. FC offers straps in different lengths as almost every manufacturer does... so I don't know which one was on the watch I had to film... Again, trying personally is the best you can do... the let your heart decide, it won't lie...

correct me if I'm wrong, but I think this watch isn't much of a "travel" watch, a GMT watch would be more practical since you can quick set the hour mark hand, then you can have the Local-time and the Home-time. This Worldtimer is more likely just to know what time it is in each side of the world, because when you set the time, the hour-ring also move. anyhow a beautiful watch, even though that date sub dial probably blocks the some of the hour index and cities llol

Alexander your presentation was up to expectations as usual. :-) The watch, design and manufacturing, impressive, Were you wearing a blue shirt when you were photographing this vidieo or was that the reflextion of the sky? The way the blue was being captured on the bracelet (the middle links?) looked great. Maybe Fred Rik Con Stance (;-) ) could look at having those middle iinks in blue with the outer links in stainless. Might be nice,
