Robert England IS Freddy Kruger. I can't imagine anyone else in that role. And, of course, Kane Hodder is still the best Jason Voorhees. Hodder should have been cast in Freddy vs Jason.

Christian Whitmore anyone who is a fan of Kane's knows that he didnt get to play Jason in Freddy vs Jason. He had said many, many times in interviews it's always been a touchy subject. The fact that these guys plagued him with questions about it..prove they have no idea who Kane Hodder is. Should have done research before the interview.

im sure the interviewers knew kane didnt play jason in freddy vs jason too. they just asked them both about the concept. i mean hell kane didnt play jason til part 7 anyway. hes the best jason dont get me wrong..but jason was played by other guys too. touchy yeah and im sure they have the research. i hate when u young fuckers always says do some research. how the fuck do uknow they didnt do research...or that they didnt have to do research to know that. i mean they were there with him in person. im sure they got to ask him alot of questions about alot of things that none of us fucking know.

Actually i think you guys are all wrong about freddy taking on chucky ..... freddy invades dreams and feeds on fear ....chucky is a phycopath and doesnt have fear ....pluss with the newest chucky movie chucky has become so over powering simply by being able to transfer his soul into an unlimited amount of dolls .....there could literally be millions of chucky vs 1 freddyn.... and in the dream world chucky could still have power like in the dream warrior freddy movies

So by Chucky having an army of Chucky that's filled with souls will actually make Freddy 100 times stronger.

The fact that it was a tie in tic tac toe shows just how much these two can’t be replaced in their roles. Freddy and Jason were a huge hit for the horror genre in the 80’s, both were equally loved by the huge teenage audience and bringing them together is a match made in heaven.

It had to end in a draw because if one of the characters loses it disrespects one of the characters so freddy and jason had to duke it out to a stalemate.

Ken DID play Jason a few shots in Jason Takes Manhattan. He was Kane's stunt double. One scene is when he walks out of the subway train and he walks horribly. Nothing like Kane, I knew it was Ken because he was so horrible in the part.

These guys both played Freddy Kruger haha. Well ya know atleast his arm 😂

Jason would wreck Michael Myers. Myers gets beat up by an old 100 pound woman In Laurie strode. The only person who could go toe to toe with Jason is Tina from part 7 because of her telekinesis.

@@alecgiblin7499 Unfortunately Tina wouldn't really stand toe-to-toe with Jason in terms of physical hand to hand contact considering she mostly relied on her telekinetic powers to pummel Jason and it was still not to keep him down, had she confronted Jason head-on she'd be dead and ripped into pieces like what he does to most of his victims. The only person I could think of standing toe-to-toe with Jason (without any superhuman abilities) is Julius From Friday the 13th Part 8: Jason Takes Manhattan though as great as his boxing skills were he was eventually killed but still managed to last long enough to fight Jason head on

Im a huge fan of both! I always wanted to see them 2 fight Michael Meyers or Jason fighting The Predator in Crystal Lake. I'd pay to see that!

I both love and hate Robert Englund. I love him because he is amazing in every way and has created my favorite movie character of all time, plus he is a genuinely awesome person and has NO flaws or problems that I've ever heard of. I hate him because by making Freddy so incredible and tied to his own personality and delight in wickedness, he has doomed the future of the franchise. There is no way in heaven or earth that anyone else could ever wear the glove and not be seen (by me at least) as a pale imitation. Without Englund, Freddy is dead except in fan films that are always just going to be that... fake but fun. - As an edit, while others can be Jason, none are nearly as good as Hodder. He was the best by far and the studio was stupid for ditching him in the showdown. I love Hodder too.

The Last Friday/Nightmare movie should be a true Freddy Vs Jason, with Robert and Kane playing their respective roles. To me, a better ending isn't them killing each other, but instead kind of a "Wasting time battling thwir respective IMMORTAL opponents" so it would be more interesting to see them rack up massive kill counts using each other as wrecking balls fighting in a hugely populated area. So it is mostly just them inadvertently doing what they do best while wasting time trying to kill each other.

I've always been a freddy fan, calling jason a big stupid mamas boy but now, I like them both equally. They both add something to the horror genre as a whole with freddy being a monster in ur head while jason being an unstoppable force of nature

Yes batman vs superman was interesting but there is something facinating about seeing two villians fight each other espicially horror villians like these two. I don't know why but I think people really enjoy watching two evil characters fight than two superheroes. That's why I kind of wish they would make more vs films with horror characters that's what fans want to see.

@@recommendedforyou2936 Because he's been in most of the movies, often has the best kills, had the highest kill count, usually has the fan favorite designs like part 7 to part 8, he helped gave Jason a raging personality and wasn't a clumsy oaf, was the most recent actor to play him at the time, he's the fan favorite actor to play Jason, and can do his own stunts.

@@shanenephilim2727 Okay so are we looking at this as 1 on 1 contained fight or basically no rules barred like the movie. Brute strength and force has to go to Jason. His weakness is he is slow when in plain sight. Plus he can be manipulate(pysche) to a certain degree. Freddy is very intelligent and quick. But he gets cocky and over confident. The ending of the movie I felt that Freddy still was in a position of control over Jason. Otherwise, why would Voorhees keep his head around.

There's many stories to why they didn't want Kane to return. Many say the director wanted someone taller, and tower over Freddy. While the director himself said it was the studio's option to recast and felt that was their decision. The new heads at New Line felt Kane was "not scary and too fat to play Jason"
