I heard this song when it was first released on this channel, was obsessed with it and listened to it all the time. I lost my old KZread that had it in my playlist. I’ve looked for it so much since then (couldn’t remember what it was called, all I remembered was the image) and now that I found it I could cry. It’s like finding a lost memory of myself. This song brings up memories of what I was doing when I had this song on repeat. Its so engraved in my memory. It gives me chills, honestly, so chill.

I really love this one. Sitting here, listening to this, I am thinking of my boyfriend. Have you ever suffered from depression, anxiety or anything that comes close to it? Or do you maybe someone who is close to you has such problems in their life? If yes, you probably will understand me when I talk about how empty I felt every day. I of course had friends and a loving family, but for some reason I kept being sad. The fact that nobody around me could actually help or/and understand me of course just made it worse for me. I was feeling alone, even while being surrounded by many people. Of course I sometimes also felt happy, but that usually faded pretty quickly. And then the loneliness came back, making my mind feel heavy, while the emptiness inside of my body kept eating me out from the inside. I saw no reason to keep going, I was scared of the future. I am scared of a lot of things. And I usually tried to avoid or get rid of things that scare me. So I wanted to do the same thing with my future. I was planning on ending it. (I will of course not talk about any more detail about this since I know how hard reading such things is for someone who lost a loved one for the same reason) A few days before I wanted to finally do it, I met that one guy. He made me forget about the horrible plans I made. And since then, he still is by my side. He makes me happy, he shows me that I am more than what cruel people said I am. He actually makes me enjoy things in life, he makes me want to achieve the goals other people told me to forget about. He makes me forget about my fears. Whether it is by making me feel safe by being with me, or by talking with me about what scares me, showing me that I have nothing to be afraid of. And most importantly, he turned my worst fear into a dream. He turned it into a goal that I definitely will achieve. He makes me look forward to my future, because it will be with him. I mean, of course I do not know how things will be. Life can be cruel sometimes, we all know that. There definitely will be sad things in my life, horrible things. But it all does not matter. I am not scared anymore, thanks to him. I love you, Kevin. You're oxygen, I can breath now, I'm alive.
