I'm actually in love with these. This was an exceptional program I'm so happy to be seeing for the first times now. Also, Freddy and JD just class acts.

The competitiveness with the respect and compliments Freddie and John give make matches like this so awesome makes it so enjoyable to watch

The respect the players show for each other here is very commendable.

The sound of Freddie's impact with full pitching wedge is majestic.

I might have to give a slight edge to Payne Stewart. Absolute butter. But Freddy's still got a gorgeous swing -- I love the way Augusta turns back the clock for him every year.

Agreeing with ALL the others who've agreed that Fred Couples swing is beautiful. As well I agree with "trdsf" comment that the great Payne Stewart's swing was so magnificent to watch. We miss Payne so much.

"I can't hit this...I don't even know if it's my ball" is something I say every time I play. Freddie did a classy job of scolding the spectator there at the end of the round.

Brings back such fond memories. Two of my favorite players of that era. Class acts both of them, complimenting and encouraging one another. Very nice to see again.

Not only do these two have among the best swings ever but I love their approaches. They play instinctively

I’m trying to think how many times I’ve watched this match. First time I caught it was in 2006...while I was recovering from dental surgery. Time flies!

what a stunning golf course... I love watching the perfect divots they take.

Couples a true Gentleman, he will keep the match close for respect of his challenger. I've seen him do this several times.

Thank you PGA Tour for bringing to us these outstanding tournaments played years and years ago. It is wonderful to be able to watch them,, as well we must Thank KZread for providing the website.

I could watch this exhibition of golf over & over.....just soooooo pure!!!! Two of my favorite golfers on a pristine facility in the American West. Does it get much better than that?!

For being such a big hitter, Daly's short game is so underrated! Amazing touch!

The best televised golf series ever. Not just for the golf either, great travelogue content too.

Played this twice earlier in the week. Such a beautiful and very difficult course!

Freddy’s silky smooth swing..and JDs brilliant short game….awesome.

Freddie seems like such a genuine dude... The way he talks to JD... it’s almost like a big brother deal. Keeps things very positive and light knowing JD gets down on himself ~

this whole production is top notch, love the segments on the history of the area and the course.

I followed Fred around Royal Adelaide in 98. He didn't play his best but I was so stoked to see him swing. A real highlight.

Not sure why they can’t do this now. Two player match with a wide open course. Social distancing would not be an issue.

Here in NSW (a state of Australia), our courses were closed for 24 hours 6 weeks ago before the powers came to their senses. We've been playing groups of 2 ever since, no touching the flagstick, no bunker rakes, no smooching etc. Essential, especially for the older generation who really need both the physicality and socialisation golf offers. It's also really had an impact on the interest shown in golf with overbooking and swelling memberships. Who would've thought??

watching both of their swings is so satisfying

I've played all three courses at Sun River Resort. The greens are like carpet. My first time there I was on the putting green and actually bent down to touch the grass to see if it was real. And then asked the starter and he assured me it was real and all the greens were that perfect. A golfer's dream coming from hot and humid Virginia and the pockmarked greens.

1:00:35 i was greenside at Baltusrol in 1993 when JD was the only player to hit the green on the 630yd 17th- oh the memories The playing conditions were perfect for this Open at Baltusrol, leading to a record 88 players making the cut. But something more extraordinary would occur before this record was established. In the second round, John Daly became the first player in the history of Baltusrol to reach the green in two strokes on the 630-yard seventeenth. Fittingly, the crowd on hand went absolutely wild as Daly's second shot bounced out of the rough and onto the green.

I like the one on one format. Easy to follow.

It's awesome watching these two play golf.

They are both so genuine to each other.

These were my favourite golfers when I was a younger fella.

Big fan of both these two but man they should've won way more than they did. So much natural talent.

Daly should have at least 20 tour wins and 5 or 6 majors with his talent. Freddie should have 30-40 tour wins 5 or 6 majors too.

Man I love these reminds me of watching with my dad as a kid.

It just doesn’t get much better than Freddy! He’s the one that sparked my love of the game as a 12 year old in 1992. His swing is what are golfer wishes they had. He’s always humble and respectful… such a legend

Doesn't get any better. Tiger woods is the main face of the PGA but Freddy and John are a close 2nd. This Era will never be matched.

This was the best senior golf venue ever! The most scenic background ever!

I watched John Daly and Fizzy Zeller play an practice round and Riviera and John was joking with the crowd and Fuzzy asked him “are you going to play golf or joke around?” John teed his ball up on a Diet Coke can and hit is 300 yards down the middle and and responded “both”. 😂

Wow what a viewing, the genuine respect they have for eachother is admirable! It seems people have lost an awful lot of respect and ettiquette compared to then, really is a shame!

Freddie and John are two of my favorite players. I've tried thru the years to mimic both these players swings.

I recently played that course.. it had some of the widest fairways I’ve ever played on a golf course.. if your wedge game is on it’s actually pretty easy to score well on it. I do have to say the views on the course are absolutely stunning!! And I saw quite a bit of wildlife and fish jumping in the waterways.

I’d love it if we could see Arnie vs Jack in 2001 at King and the Bear.

Played this course in the early 2000's with friends as part of a golf trip. We got on because one of our friends was a PGA Pro (teaching pro) and he knew the other pro at Crosswater. On the 687 yard par 5, our buddy hit driver and driver off deck to get there in 2. He was sitting just on the fringe, made the putt for eagle.

I was at that match...Awesome. I've played Sun River a few times, love it but not as much as Bandon Dunes on the Oregon coast.

This is great! I'd like to see them play out the holes, they keep cutting to the next hole.

56:45 might be the best swing I’ve ever seen. Fred was too smooth with his tempo!

It's like watching two close friends playing a casual game of golf.

JD is one awesome American. I play Freddy's old home course in Seattle often... he's no slouch either :-)
