Hey, on friday I had cosmetic tattooing performed in philadelphia by Tara of @Browsofprey
Cosmetic tattooing is a temporary procedure that will gradually fade over the span of six months to a year, depending on aftercare. Cosmetic tattooing is different than a traditional tattooing, so if you view this video in your research, know that this was performed by an esthetician and not a tattoo artist.
That out of the way, I will be doing a follow up Q&A video all about my experience, so leave you questions down below!

    Stephanie Roth Didn't know it would bug someone so much that being positive and being around positive people, that this was never an issue. Correction I'm not "super young". I also have a ginger brother, people love assuming or getting mad because others voice their opinion. If my comment bothers you, I hope you know you didn't have to comment. 😂😂👍🏽 sorry I commented on a video and that it seemed so direct towards you.

    Stephanie Roth you also need to calm down on being so quick to judge people, especially since you don't know me. That's a lot of assuming in a few sentences.

    I don't know why people have a problem with this freckle thing. The reason it's popular now is because it shows natural beauty and innocence. Back then people used to tell me it was cute, and we made a freckle club or something for only freckled people. It was never mocked where I am. I'm a natural redhead and when I was a kid they were more prominent but they've faded a lot and when I put makeup on they disappear. So to draw them on is just putting them back pn where foundation covers them. If i really wanted to make that look permanent and have darker/ more freckles I don't see why not.

    so weird seeing people suddenly liking freckles.. when i was a kid i was constantly mocked for having them lmao *edit i don't understand how people could misunderstand me so badly. i just said it was weird seeing people like freckles, i do not have anything against people drawing them on or getting them tattooed. i just found it weird. it ain't that deep on the other hand, i don't understand how some of you think you can tell me how to feel about me getting shit for my freckles. "everyone get teased for something bla bla bla". just because i brought my freckles up in this comment section doesn't mean i "haven't moved on from the past" or whatever the fuck y'all tryna say lmao. as i said before, it ain't that deep, i just found it weird:)))

    Could you talk about how cosmetic tattooing has changed so much in the past several years? When I was a kid, when someone got eyeliner tattooed on, it was permanent. It was a regular tattoo, like any other ones you'd get. I was surprised when, recently, people talked about how all these cosmetic tattoo options are different to regular tattoos and the process is different, and I would love to be more informed about it.

  • @luv2bevl1

    natsblogs Yes, I was wondering the same. I can understand lip tattoos fading more. But very surprised about cosmetic tattoos in general not being permanent. The freckles I could understand fading a bit more as it is small, but still thought it wouldn't be a year or less.

    I'm pretty sure that they change the molecular size of the tattoo ink. Ink pigment is just big enough to where your body can't break it down all the way. Well someone (no idea who) made the pigment small enough for your immune system to attack within a year

  • @natsblogs

    @natsblogs

    Huh. Just because it's trendy, you think? I also find it interesting that people doing cosmetic tattoos are usually not tattoo artists. I know they undergo training and all that, it just makes me wonder about if the process on the giving end is different.

  • @jordan-ve4qw

    @jordan-ve4qw

    natsblogs with cosmetic tattooing, the pigment is not placed as deep as traditional tattoo ink. That's why it fades in few years, because it's in the layers of skin that sheds. I'm not sure about the size of the ink on a molecular level though. I have microblading done, so I'm just relaying the info my technician told me!

    I didn't know this kind of tattoo was controversial. People need to stop worrying about other peoples' business. I like freckles. You look great without makeup, don't worry about it. Oooh I see, because it's a face tattoo. Eh, it's a recreation/enhancement of a real thing. Not something that isn't usually on your face.

    Here are my questions - is there any difference between normal tattoo ink and cosmetic tattoo ink - What's your opinion on using a picture reference of somebody else's freckles as a reference for your own tattoo's - Are they permanent or temporary - Do you plan on getting more freckles - Would you / Can you do them on your neck and body

  • @montelavey1425

    Joanna Grace Almost all tattoos are permanent. Hers are, in fact, permanent. You can get them on your neck and any other part of your body, but, it wouldn't be considered cosmetic tattooing.

    Theres no huge difference in tattoo pigment and cosmetic tattoo pigment. The ony difference is that cosmetic pigments are tested different and color fomulated so that they don't change in the skin. Microblading pigments may contain glycerin to make the formula so they arent as runny. Also what makes some cosmetic tattooing more semi permanent is that we arent going as deep into the dermis as a traditional tattoo.

    Juliana Guevara it is pretty trendy right now, which is why I don't think I would ever be inclined to do it (even though I've ALWAYS wanted freckles!) However, she does have natural freckles on her face and super prominent freckles on her body (you can see a ton on her shoulders on her day two update) so I think they completely make sense and work for her. Plus, I'm totally down for people doing whatever they feel like doing! You go Amanda, you look cute as hell!

    I don't understand why everyone asks QCKND how much various tats and procedures hurt? it such a stupid bloody question. everyone is different. and Qcknd's experience would probably have been different if she was otherwise untattooed because she would be nervous and unfamiliar with what was likely to happen. different nerves and adrenaline increases pain. exact location of the tattoos will vary pain. then is the obvious thing. if you don't know someone's most painful experience, a pain score means absolutely nothing. if it is only the fear of pain that stops you getting tats, then you are just not committed enough to that decision. the pain is so short lived and in my opinion, if you stammer in decision phase because of fear, you dont want it enough and you are likely to end up regretting it. but then, I would classify myself as a tat collector, not someone complying with fashion. I know what parts of my body I want covered and what subject matters I want to express, I just try to pace my inking so I'm not healing and protecting too many at time

    Certain parts of this feel like a found footage horror film,,, like, when there's no talking and you're just kinda filming random scenery and walking up stairs and through doors and the train coming in... for some reason it just feels like a found footage style horror movie lmao, i think it's because of the silence and the zooming in and out and the occasional camera going out of focus also hmm im usually not a fan of how drawn on/tattooed freckles look (but if ppl do like it and want it then more power to them!!!!!), but i had never considered getting it to enhance freckles that are already there :0 because i have a handful of freckles/beauty marks on my face that i love, but are so faint and kinda just look like they could be acne scars, which i hate, i wish it was more obvious that they were freckles... so i had never even thought of tattoo freckles being an option to enhance pre-existing freckles and thats awesome :3 yours look great!

    Qcknd Question: i understand there could be a lot of judgement for this type of tattoo because 1. it is on your face & 2. the stigma that comes with cosmetic tattoos. Have you received as much negative feedback as you thought you would? Also, considering the size and placement of the tattoos, has healing been quicker, about the same as, or significantly slower than your other tattoos? Just wanna say, I personally love your freckle tattoos and your channel! they are adorable just like you!

    Miss Caesalpinia I find it to be slightly strange. Not bad, and it's her face and whoever else's face that wants to get it done. Freckles are cute. I have had freckles my whole life, so looking at people wanting to have freckles is like "woah." It's strange to me that people are going to get freckles tattooed on their face or seeking out temporary freckle tattoos. I guess like you said, it's a little funny. Like I've had this thing my whole life and now people are paying real money for it?

    The reaction you have is over the top. Just like the some people resentment in this comment section, because some kids mock you when you where little, you blame them to invalidate you or people?There where kids not grown up adults .I swear alot of people are stuck in the past and play victims alot over nothing, just do you goddammit... Childrens mock everything keep those memories to the past or seek for help.Good that you have nothing against people getting the tattoo but the whole invadilate thing just show that the person need mental help, especially for something this little, still haunt them because some kids show up and said; hey brah you have freckles hahahah...

Slim figures naturally hold clothes more beautifully, that's what designers literally say in response to why their models are so petite and thin. It is in style, recognize that.
