Love the channel because you show the failures with the success. Bow hunting is hard! One decision makes or breaks an opportunity, and it's over so quickly. I understand your frustration, but appreciate the sincerity of the emotional rollercoaster. Keep it up man.

I had to chuckle at your closing seen. I feel your pain. Count back a year from this month, since we hunt deer year round in Texas, and I have missed more deer this year than ever. I can kill doe but missed 2 nice WT bucks last fall, and should have killed a couple of nice axis bucks. 2 days ago I was in the blind and shot my biggest axis buck to date, all of 200 pounds, 28 yards, right in the crease quartering away and he ducked just enough where the arrow hit the knuckle of his shoulder. The arrow penetrated 2". A week ago, My new V3 cost me this buck at 47 yards. He never heard the shot and didn't duck until the arrow was 5 feet from him. Yah Chris, I feel your pain. I found some broken FMJ's in the range by me. I use a youth bow so if I cut them to my length there will be no fracturing on the arrow. do you guys think that these are safe to shoot or should I scrap them?

I used an Axcel scope mount. On my sight the dove tails match, however, there was a little file work involved.

Your draw length might be a little long. String slap is common when it is too long because your elbow is naturally brought in closer to the string - resulting in your forearm getting hit.
