Friendly Reminded Woods isn't actually Handicapped. He Specifically only uses the WheelChair when he wants Sympathy and Special Treatment from the Nurses at the Nursing Home/wherever. We know this because he got up out of his WheelChair to Shread at the Avenged Sevenfold 2025 Tour at the Floating City. This is all Canon.

So far 1989 events are canon because sledgehammer or infinity ward has the stage next year that is 2025 and if it’s mw4 it’s going to carry over into 2024 -2025 where the technology isn’t as advanced as in BO2

When u boot up BO2, there is a cutscene where Alex Mason doesn't have a hole bullet when David is narrating implying that Alex Mason survived in Panama. And then u get to the BO2 menu .

They probably gonna make Mason surviving the canon ending to sell their bundles. Something like, Woods getting intel from a trusted source, not knowing its Mason thats giving him the intel under an alias. But this is purely for Warzone's story. The actual campaign is probably just gonna be some new bad guy with slightest hint that Mason was involved.

Basically Frank Woods would be like Lester From GTA V

I feel like Bo2 still has a Semi canon status similar to og Mw1, where some aspects are canon while others arent. For mw1 its the chernobyl mission because it was explicitly mentioned in mw2019 and further backed up in mw2024. Bo2s canon will be the Flashback scenes for Woods, Mason, Hudson, and Menendez. I think what they'll end up doing is have a reboot of Bo2 similar to Mw2019 thats set in this new universe. It will be similar to og Bo2 but scaled back and more integrated with the Makarov plot. Makarov and Menendez largely want the same thing, Death to America. I feel like theyre going to play similar roles to Nazi Germany and Imperialistic Japan in the plot of Ww3. Both will be interconnected in terms of overall schemes and tactics but the 2 antagonists will focus on different parts of the war with different protagonists. So TF141 will focus on overseas with the Makarov threat and David Mason and his team will focus on Menendez and his threat, with some overlap for plot cohesion and fan service. If they DONT do that or something akin im gonna be really suprised

i was playing with my friend Plunder mode in warzone and there was an airdrop which had an bunker acces card, in that bunker there was an Big map which had some cities marked and the same exact room where woods was

Open world missions CAN work, but they need to have proper execution and, more importantly, they need to already be there from early in development because adding it too late ala MW 2023 only results in it being shit.

i hope that the ending where Mason is still alive is cannon and that we maybe get a little easter egg or even a mission dedicated to Mason hiding or something like that.

What I think what happened to mason was, the CIA hid him, say in the game in the opening campaign it goes through the events after cold war, and we see Alex being found but they say he is dead. Then, this can tie into the ending where he is still alive, and it makes sense because everybody thought he was dead, which then would cause Adler to look for mason because he believes he could still be alive, and in the end he found out about mason but uncovered something which makes him the mole

Personally they should leave the story alone before it ends up becoming a mess like the new mw series. The black ops story concluded perfectly at bo2
