The ref jumped in as usyk was about too turn tysons lights out then took ages to start the count. Fury was done. Take my hat off too him for comming back after being rocked like that but happy for usyk hes the man i love how humble he is.

When the ref stepped in is when the corner post was holding fury up. It was right at 10sec he made the count and stopped to look at the clock. Then stopped again at the end before the bell to see why they hadn’t rung the bell. The error which made it seem like a super long count is they didn’t ring the bell. Touching the arm idk WTH he was doing maybe trying to see in the heat of the moment. But the post holding him up per rules is considered a knockdown though.

People who keep saying this know nothing about boxing. The ref made the right call because he was out on his feet and if it wasn't for the ropes he would of hit the floor. The ropes aren't there to prevent knockdowns and it would of been the equivalent of letting Usyk keep pounding on Fury while he is laying on the mat.

If he thinks 2 was even he has to be open to fact Usyk may have got that one to . He says Fury won the next 5, then he said Usyk won 8, 9, 10. And 11 But Fury won 12. I have the exact same scorecard. Ive seen people give Fury the first rd. So Fury has extra leeway as well. Ive also seen people score the 11th for Fury. These cards still had Usyk winning. Tyson indisputably won 3-7 no contest. Usyk 8-10 no contest. 5 definite rds for Fury & 3 for Usyk, with 1,2,11 & 12 being toss ups. That means every swing went to Usyk.

I looked at that fight as unbiased as possible throughout and I had Usyk winning the first 2, losing every round up until the 7th, won every round from then on + knockdown + the 12th (12th was close but how Frank Warren thinks Fury won the last round I have no clue, he got a couple of g ood shots in with Usyk but Usyk stayed a lot busier throughout and hit more and better quality punches). A lot closer than people thought it was, but Usyk won that fight every single time, loved every second of it a real chess match and Fury should be sensationally proud and this is coming from a guy who dislikes him but the talent that man has is unbelievable. I thought after that fight "If Tyson stayed clean, didn't bow out after the Wlad fight, lived a life like Marvin Hagler or heck even Usyk there's NO WAY Usyk would ever beat him". But I guess that's where Usyk's true strength lies, in his unwavering discipline, commitment and determination which won it for him over Fury.

Punches that don’t land are not scoring punches. It’s quite simple, really. Fury threw the most punches, with that stupid backhand jab, that he does, the right hook to the body and the uppercuts. Most of those shots either missed, or were blocked. Usyk has such great head movement and defence, it can appear to judges and to those watching, that shots are actually missing, but are being scored.

It was a clear TKO imo, Fury was barely conscious and took many extra punches to his head by standing up. Ironically, Fury has received the biggest brain damage of his life by Usyk of all people, the "middle weight"

Agreed. They should make Fury vs. Joshua at Wembley in September 2024. Both guys are getting older, so now is the time, and that is still a massive fight at this stage. Both guys still have just enough time that they could potentially turn Fury vs. Joshua into a trilogy in itself, which could be a British classic. Usyk should retire now at the pinnacle of the sport - nothing left to prove - and sail off into the sunset as a legend. or he should be paid a step aside to allow the Fury vs. Joshua fight next.

Some of the very best got KO'd but still returned and won, Mike Tyson, Lennox Lewis etc, Oct could be different gravy again. Writing Tyson off now is crazy.

Usyk in my humble opinion clearly (not without backfire from Fury and not by a crazy margin, but still clearly) won rounds 1,2 and 3, then Tyson won rounds 4, 5 and 6 pretty clearly, then I don't really know who I personally would give the 7th round, Tyson was clearly winning it up until the last ~half a minute of it or maybe a minute, when Oleksandr connected with several really good punches, overall I'm leaning for it to be Tyson who won 7th, but not sure 100%, then 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12, some with more confidence than others, but I think Oleksandr won. Some people say 12 is clearly for Tyson, I don't know, I may rewatch it again, but about 8, 9, 10 and 11 I personally can't see at all how they could be scored for Tyson, as well as the first three in this bout. That's how I see it

Yup, the punch on the nose pretty much changed the direction of the fight. Usyk also made slight adjustments... finishing his combos with the left being the main one.

Great fight ...uysk won that fight fair and square ...
