This is what we felt about Bruce Springsteen before Born in the USA. I see parallels between Frank and Bruce. This song reminds me of Bruce's song Growin' Up from his first album.

I saw them perform this song live, it was awesome. Everyone was singing along to the chorus and just having a blast. I'm so happy I found Frank Turner, I needed some new good music to listen to!

It's a reference to the older member's of the Millennial generation who have little in common with the younger members of the same generation. They're depicted as having thin or balding hair, a beer gut, and a smile like they're very pleased with their life. They're normally either grilling, mowing their lawn, or sitting in a lawn chair listening to 80's music. It was originally meant to be a derogatory image. But people like myself took the image as our mascot and use it with pride. It's often used to depict someone with a simple life and simple tastes, and they're fine with that. In video game spaces it's often used to depict people who have a preference for games from the late 90-early 00's, over modern games.

When my teacher tells me to sit down and shut my mouth I say the lyrics to the song I won't sit down and I won't shut up!
