Frank & Fiona | I Gave You All (Shameless US)

Фильм және анимация

Watch in HD, please.
Hey, guys! So, first of all, I want to thank you for support. Your likes and comments... I'm really glad, that you enjoy my edits. That's fantastic!
Well, as you can see, here is another video about my lovely Fiona Gallagher. And about... Frank. Let me explain. My attitude to Frank Gallagher is more like... love/hate. Of course, I can't say that Frank is a good person. He is not. "He takes what he pleases and he offers nothing" (c). But more important is that he's just an awful father. It seems like he doesn't give a shit about his children at all. But sometimes... In some very rare moments... I start to think he kinda... cares. He kinda loves his family. Especially Fiona. His daughter. His rock. His proud. And deep inside, I belive, Fiona loves him too. Despite to all bad things Frank did to her. So, thank you, William Macy. Thank you, Emmy Rossum. You both did a great job.

BlasterS33 so a normal flawed person fucks her boyfriends brother who was her boss then expects to get the job back? Cheats on her husband with and ex???? Almost has Liam die from coke???? Stops Ian from getting a home for the homeless??? Charges Carl rent even though he paid 100000$ for the house??? Treats V like absolute shit for awhile??? Becomes an insane alcoholic and overall selfish bitch? Yeah a lot of that’s normal you’re right. Oh and does coke while on probation and violates it. Totally normal.

I really love the relationship between Frank and Fiona. Actually I love it much more than his relationship with other kids. Fiona has always been the first one to take care of Frank, since she was a child, and then all of the responsibility made her tougher and more realistic. She can’t trust Frank, in many ways she hates him for all the shit he’s done to her and the kids that she loves so much, but I believe that deep inside Fiona loves her father. And Frank actually cares about her, even though he doesn’t show it. Both editing and music are so so so great, you did such a great job. I also really loved those moments when they were dancing, or that “Thanks, Francis” thing, it showed how happy they were. Thank you for the video, definitely my favorite now

Frank is, of course, to be held accountable for his own actions. He is a bad person, a terrible father and has made kids' life hell. I do think he cares for his children, in some twisted, selfish abusive way though. I also think that in a world where he didn't meet Monica and get dragged into her world and her bullshit he would have made one hell of a dad.

What makes you think it's Monica's fault he's a bad dad? I don't really see the connection there. He isn't even in the home so much of the time, and when he was he was so completely self focused, it's like a joke of an exaggeration to even just call that "bad" parenting...

@@VioletEmerald Wait maybe I didn't properly explain myself. I'm not saying it's Monica's fault Frank is a peice of shit of a dad - that's absolutely on him, he's responsible for his own actions. All I meant by that is that I think in a world where he didn't get mixed up with the drugs and the alcohol and everything else Monica introduced him to, and where he didn't have that toxic relationship with her, he would have made a good dad. I only mentioned her because he started down that path when he met her. And it was all hypothetical, too. He is awful, and he's a shitty shitty father, and that's no one's fault but his own.

@@celestefieramonti You gotta wonder though if you can ever really blame a peer/love interest/friend for your intense most-of-your-life addictions that wreck the rest of your life. Didn't we meet Frank's mother in one episode and she was horrible? I think there's always more of a childhood trauma root cause to most addiction related situations later in life, a lot of research is pointing towards that... I mean there is a reason someone would be drawn to an individual like Monica, even if it's hard to really see it at the time.

  • @celestefieramonti

    @celestefieramonti

@@VioletEmerald Absolutely! I wasn't really thinking about it at the time, but that 100% played a huge role too. Childhood trauma does tend to impact people way more into their lives, and meeting his mom it's clear Frank had a lot of that. There were a lot of screwed up situations that led to him being the person he is, and that's not to take responsibility away from him. It's sad that whenever something like this happens, even in real life, it's kids who pay price.

It sucks that fiona never got to truly know that Frank deep inside knew that he fucked up and that he feels sorry for all the things he put fiona through... I really hope fiona comes back in season 11 and finds the closure with Frank she deserves and acknowledge the level of guilt Frank has buried within him..

Frank love her, he always does. And matter of fact he love her more than any of his children. Hes proud of her and respects her. We can clearly see him been protective for her time to time. Ofcourse was not direct with showing his affection towards her. And fiona loves him too. Shes does and i bet if frank dies in the show it would hit her the most and finally break the wall build around her and her emotions will finally free. She needed frank to hug and tell all this to her and show her how much he loves her. Isnt that what every child wants from there parents.

I just watched the scene where Fiona leaves... and it hurts so bad. Like we know how much he loves her from the scene where he was hallucinating with the little girl, and all the times he talked fondly about her when she wasn’t around... but he made things so twisted between them that it was too weird to be able to say thank you and love you properly. That half assed (but completely sincere, just lack of communication) goodbye was powerful despite its seemingly crappy wording. His oldest daughter and little girl flies the coop 🥺

i found that the last scene between fiona and frank was perfect. because in season one, when he was passed out, and she pretended that he was thanking her. and then in the last scene, he really did thank her.

This was really great, I especially loved how after all the angst you had a montage of actual loving hugs around the climax building to show there being moments I'd completely forgotten even happened, but how the video told the amazing story of their relationship in its entirety. Also "Sorry I left you and your brother" then cutting to the scene in court after she told the story of abandonment.

Frank and tbag from prison break are characters you love to hate and hate to love. Without both of these icons. The show would have not lasted. This edit makes me sad again seeing both Fiona’s and franks pain.

Frank cares and loves his kids. Like you have to remember the person he was before he became a drug addict and alcoholic. But when dealing with an addict whether it be drugs or alcohol..that’s way more important to them getting the next fix, that’s their priority above anything. Frank cares, his disease just won’t allow it.
