Hard to believe this was almost 10 years ago. The Saurus was on another level back then. I remember TheSaurus and Illmaculate being unstoppable back then, nobody was fucking with them.

100% agree, I miss the days when you didn't really know who your next opponent is, you might have a couple lines but most was off the top, and both MC's give respect/props at the end. Saurus is ill.. and I miss Franco, whatever happened to him, he was a beast back in the scribble days? hope he's doing well

One of the most impressive freestyle sessions ever, the flips thesaurus comes up with are fucking unbelievable. Every single one is hardcore.

It sucks so much nowadays all these battles are acappella. Battles on beats is where rapping skills shows.

He had a lot of prewritten/premeditated multis 'cause they've face off multiple times. It was sorta a known thing, around this time of 2004+ there was a transition in Scribble and battles where the new generation started coming with a lot more prewritten multis in battles, Franco was one of the last of that old era where everything was more "off the dome", so you see a clash of the old vs new style.

From the days when battle rap was good. I watched this the day it was released. It's sad to see what real freestyle battle rap has been reduced to now

True, I completely agree.. Franco got so far in Scribble 'cause he could just RAP and FLOW nonstop for days, even if he didn't have a punchline his ability to rap so well carried him through to the final rounds, kinda like Adeem in the late 90's, just pure flow. In all respect, I think Franco is a much better battler than Adeem though, no knock on him.

All of them are sick. Flo, Franco and The Saurus was killin it off the head. I hope to see more of the three.

man, this is probably my favorite rap battle vid. fuckin' fraqnco came out with some hilarious rhymes, but the one thing Saurus had over him was he flipped 'em all. tight as fuck tho, the "u look like BIC Zippo burned King Hippo" line had me lmao.
