A knock down should be valued not with 8 but with 7 points instead of 10. The SD verdict of the judges should be interpreted as being prompted by marketing considerations, as a UD in favour of an MMA fighter as Fancis Ngannou would have negatively reflected upon the prestige heavweight boxer like Tyson Fury which should still serve as 'milk cow' for further matches. A knock out of Fury would have had the same result as Canelo's win of GGG of whom one did not hear much any more after his loss.
