@Ashley-og9ti Hello Sis. Ex. 17:13-16. If you get a Strong's Concordance, and I once had a chart of the Lord's names in Hebrew. The Lord is our provider. Gen. 22:14 The Lord is our healer. Psalm 147:3 Yahweh or I Am that I Am Ex. 3:15. If you look up the charestics of Jesus you will find many Hebrew names are Who He is and you can pray out the promises and ordinances of God's scriptures in His Word. I had a difficult time praying when I was first saved as well. If you press into the Lord and seek Him with all your heart, you will find Him. Intimacy comes with being still and knowing He is God. I like to start with repentance. Repentance clears the air and starts your prayer on good ground so that sin doesn't make you feel distant or frustrated before the Lord. Allow yourself to begin with you and your personal / family prayers. Speak like you are talking to a friend. Be open and honest.He knows it all anyway. He desires that we know He hears and answers prayers.Then worship can help. Singing a song to the Lord opens your heart. Lastly, ask the Holy Spirit to stir your spirit and to guide you to what the Lord wants you to pray for in this hour. You will see the Holy Spirit begin to show you in the Spirit who and what needs intercession. Please pray for me and the ministry the Lord has given me as I will pray for you. God bless you.
