I've heard her blind audition 99 times and still get the chills. Her range and limitations know no boundaries. I won't include a spoiler on how she did in The Voice of Norway.

I paused in the middle of Bella Robin ( 7:44 ) to search up a live Celine Dion performance of that song, just cuz I hadn't heard it before. And I came back thinking, "lol, no way she's gonna go that hard," and I was wrong.

There was a French Canadian singer on Canada's The Voice who also did a pretty good job of " I Surrender" but this version was powerfully and strong all the way.
Absolutely Fantastic
Still listen to Joana Couto's audition to this day. And her performance of "I surrender" in the next stage is something else. Parabéns miúda ❤🇵🇹💪🏻

You are correct. However, its confidence, passion and voice control. Three things that are incredibly hard to teach. If I were a judge I would’ve turned my chair as well. On those simple facts. Making someone sound “good” is the easy part.
