I love her. She seems actually genuine, she marches to the best of her very own drum. Love her energy and her message.

I love how she acknowledges every presenters on stage in every awards show. Very down-to-earth and outgoing!! She is an embodiment of who I want to be. :)

Well deserved. She might seem a bit weird but that's her style and i like it. And no comparison for her acting skills obviously .

It shouldn't be surprising that she stands with her fellow women and wanted to share recognition (some day, equal pay). Stating "Inclusion Rider" further exemplifies her desire for opportunities to extend everyone. FYI - "An “inclusion rider” is a clause that an actor can insist be inserted in their contract that requires cast and crew on a film to meet a certain level of diversity." Frances also gave thanks to two men who she declared "value themselves, each other and those around them". I believe she is striving for mutual respect all around the board which should be equally reciprocated. What a wonderful world that would be! Sounds like an incredible goal that we can all strive for.

no Saoirse Ronan was the weakest nomination.. honestly her performance was average, anyone could have pulled that one off. It had nothing exceptional about it. Meryl Streep's performance was hands down more impressive.

I was half expecting Frances to lead all the women outside and burn the building with all men inside.

I wanted SO BAD that Sally Hawkins could won the Oscar, her acting leaved me on tears. Still, congratulations to Frances, cherished her since I watched Madeline as a kid.

I totally LOVE how Frances is so real. I love how she embraces who she is. She is funny and serious at the same time. I adore her. Well deserved, Frances! I want to hug you so bad right now.

I LOVE how she always shakes hands with the people who give the statur (you know usually interns or celebrities children etc.). You don't see people do that a lot, in my opinion it shows how much of a nice person she is and I love her for that.

An inclusion rider is a stipulation that the cast and/or the crew in a film reflect real demographics, including a proportionate number of women, minorities, LGBTQ individuals and people with disabilities. Big-name actors who have leverage in negotiations could put this stipulation into their contracts and drastically change representation in film.

Why should the cast and crew reflect "real demographics"? Why shouldn't it reflect "real talent", like, say, the NBA? After all, if the NBA reflected "real demographics" there would be 65% white and 15% hispanic and 6% asian. Hahahahahahahahahahahaha.
