Wow too much praise for Jokic. It was a 4 point game with three minutes to go. Do you really think France was going all out? It was a friendly to create strategy for the real games. Jokic is boring to watch - slow and not athletic. His fundamentals are good and he can outthink his opponents but I just find him boring to watch compared to so many other players in the game. I could be wrong about this, but given his build I can’t see how stays healthy enough to ever be considered one of the greats, but time will tell.

France became way too slow for all of Serbia's guards. The offense for country Serbia was great, ball movement never a concern, and the entire team played spectacular all game. Real cool to see Victor scoring threes and Jokic getting and 1's that sent Jokic to the line. Overall this was a brilliant game to see. France did a very good job on the offensive glass though getting multiple boards. This team's problem is failing to stop other opponents. Serbia is too quick for them and France just couldn't compete as well once Serbia got the ball to the basket. Layups too many of them. Outstanding Paris Olympics Game.

It's normal for the French team to lose, as Wenbanyama's attack did not perform at a dominant level. His weight couldn't defend against Jokic and he was completely overwhelmed by him. Gobert was always breached and had no offensive ability, while the French defenders were far less accurate than the Serbian defenders,

It seems like Serbia is not a good match for France .. Jokic Sorounded by shooters so their Defense inside is useless. Serbia has so many sniper outside even the big man can shoot. and they are so fast + agile at the same time. It’s good that Serbia shot well and has Jokic! They don’t box out!

Surprised Serbia took this practice match quite serious and gave decent minutes to their main players. Overall a good battle which will prepare both teams well for the real stuff. I do however think France really lack a quality point guard, no one really controls the offense well and looks a bit unorganised.

Gobert and Wemby choked before the Olympics. It was all Serbia. Thats why im gonna watch that USA match against Serbija.

@@tenesol you have a homogenous society and that's shows on your national team. other countries, like France, Brazil or the US, are melting pots where people of different ethnicity or culture meets in the same land. it reflects heavily in their national team. your perception of national team is just your perception since ethnicity or race does not necessarily translate into a national team. otherwise, we will only see native americans (amerindians) playing for north and latin american teams.

What is the point of making your 7'3 guy play 8m away from the rim?

Remember that these games are there to make build a team with players who have never or rarely played together. Gobert and Wenby only played once together before this one as the Spurs "monster" didn't play in Frances second game against Germany. Reminds me of rhe football games between two teams one being made up by the top players in the world but who lose almost every game as never play together. Building a team takes time.

Gobert and Victor are like 90 feet tall combined, still mo match for Jokic.
